This drama called me single in three different languages. 🙃

After reading the novel I can safely say that you are right. They took the main scenes from the story and made a drama out of them.. leaving most of the explanation out. In the end the drama version is funny but incoherent.

Warning the novel is hardcore 19+.

Because of the comments here I checked out the novel and the drama makes so much sense now. I thought the drama was funny too but the book is funnier and wierder. All of the characters are ten times crazier. I'm amazed on how did they omit snakes from the story?! Like that's the most important component in the book. The only downside is the novel (English version) has 197 chapters and it's still updating.

I just started this and they kissed in the very first episode!... And in second episode too. Overall clichéd and comfy. I like it.

It would be a logical explanation.. but then again she did have the physical evidences of scroll and hairpin given by the king. So I'd like to believe that she did somehow time travelled.

I will always feel sad about time travel love endings. Although this was the best end they could've gotten.

First episode and they're already in a relationship! I like the pace of this drama.

Also I loved LueKe and SuiLei in the beginning but they were so damn annoying by the end. Although I understand their psychology due to childhood trauma.. but dude can you both stop running back. Smh.

I liked the second half better. It feels like the drama was written by two separate set of writers. First part is just fluff.. Like nothing much happens in the first half but boy did it take a 180° turn. Once they started running.. it turned into a fast paced drama and there were so many twists and turns. Love the way they explored the whole AI concept. I'm glad the second couple were given importance in the second half coz let's be honest the main couple's storyline ended in the first half. By the end I didn't even care about them. The actors were great but the main characters.. not so much. As expected QianYa remains my favourite till the end.

Halfway through this and I find the second couple more interesting. Honestly love QianYa's character.

If it weren't for the subs I wouldn't have recognized Captain.. wow!

Basically this was compilation of all the missing scenes they couldn't shoot in the main series.. that's why there's no single plotline. The trailer was really misleading. But the show was good. Sai and Zon are still cute. So no complaints.

There are many suggestions but since you enjoyed this one I'd recommend it's prequels TharnType and LoveByChance.. other than that History:Trapped and ColorRush are my favourites.

Suggestion: Watch the movie version instead. They cut out some scenes in the drama version.
