Yup that's probably it. Well, it's better they get the editing right cuz they won't have any excuses now

But that's a season ,right. I mean the parts were released within a gap of a month or so. Not more than that. It's alright for a season to take years to release but not a particular volume/part. Even stranger things season 4 had it's last 2 episodes released as a standalone part. They released it within 14 days or so and they waited around 3 years to release that very season.

Your dp.. makes me miss Mr queen so badly. That was my favorite historical drama. Too bad no 2nd season. Totally deserves one

Yup. Didn't actually get into the fantasy stuff until I watched who rules the world ...then went on to blue whisper and so on ...but daymn the quality has come far after just 2 years from love and redemption

But the dates of release are way far apart. Let's say one month is fine but 3+ months

This year china has some big big fantasy releases...like love between fairy and devil....blue whisper... The history kinda drama love like the galaxy ...totally awesome

Wat da ..so they put 20 episodes just to make it a cliffhanger. They just could continued where they left off just like most of the fantasy Chinese dramas do. It's not like it's a new season or something....it's the just the same season different part tho

Some of the most fantastic fantasy dramas aren't they. Latter half of 2022 has been good for dramas especially for the fantasy genre

Happy ending with a sloppy and kinda rushed feature to it

Well the end seemed as if they just did it half heartedly, however the rest is just a treat to watch. A solid 9.0 from me. Thank you for such a damn good fantasy drama.

Building upon the fantastic 1st half, the second half doesn't disappoint. The second half comes with higher stakes and with higher stakes comes heart wrenching and heart breaking moments. Not to mention the cool CGI effects, and yes they didn't hurt them horses guys, just to inform y'all animal lovers. They actually had a note included at the end of an episode saying that no horses were injured during production of the drama. We all know why they did that ;) Ahem....Anyways just like the 1st half, it kept me hooked on to it throughout the whole series . The last two episodes seem more like filler(anticlimactic) but well, overall it's a solid 9.0.

Hmm... Wonderfully paced and a wonderfully structured 1st half. The structuring of each episode here was better than that seen in the 2nd half, however the stakes in the 1st half aren't as high as in the 2nd half. This story is all about maturing and character building. I personally liked the 1st half better. A solid 9.0.
