Well, yes and no. They basically broke up their fake relationship to get into a real relationship so well ... So ..yeah that's it. Nothing too deep. Typical stuff.
Hmmm... Well it's watchable and I watched it. Is it as good as the English adaptation? Definitely not. Is it passable as a good drama? Definitely, yes. A solid 8.0.
i honestly wouldn't want a korean or chinese remake cuz it'd overshadow the original (as it always does). i do…
What I meant is the plot in general. I'm not speaking about anything specific. Normally Japanese have a tendency to do something that's really strange. Just like this series. Or unique.. I think that's a better term. Hehe...

Not liking gays? Well, yes but do I hate them ? Not really. It's like asking whether I like the Germans or whether I like any person from another country. I don't really like them but also don't hate them. I hope that answers your question.

Just saw the synopsis and it's seems so japaneseXD. I have no idea whether it's a straight or Gay drama. Just like Mr. Queen. Hehe.... Thanks for recommending it. Will look into it
A solid 8.5 from me. Story is everything here. The actors and actresses do really well. The child actors and actresses do well too. I have to say, back the the stories really do hit different.
It's wierd and well ...wierd. both the FL and ML are both wierd. They fall in love because of their mutual love for each other's wierdness, that is, if that makes any sense to y'all. Anyways a solid 8.5 cuz I don't think I'll be wierd enough to give it a higher rating;)
Coffee prince embodies the era of what it is like to have flip phones without having to pay the premium for it. It also embodies the Western-ish kinda relationships that the mains have. Cheating isn't such a big deal here. The couples fight each other for a few days and move on. They remain friends even after someone's been kissed by a person they don't really like. It's basically the life in the 2000s. Aaah..the good ol' days. I was only 8 years when this came out. As a kid who didn't know jackshit about the internet, and only wanted a computer to play full tilt pinball on Ms windows xp, watching this drama was out of my reach and beyond my capacity. Frankly saying I wouldn't understand anything. Sitting here, watching this drama after 15 years of it's initial release brings back memories of simpler days. A solid 8.5. why? 1st reason: That's because there wasn't product placement and if there was, they did it very badly cuz I didn't notice it. The 2nd is that the story was cute and simple unlike secret garden that tried to make things dramatic with a lot of oomph. 3rd, the performances of all the actors were on point even the guest roles did their job well. Thank you, coffee prince, for not disappointing me.
