Yes they had kid and they also got married But in novel they didnt got into that much in father son relationship like they are showing in show. He had really anger issue.Male lead didnt even apologize to her for remarks he made and Novel really was focussed on love traingle between dead ex gf, FL and ML . What pissed me off about FL who literally said to ML to treat her as substitute for her dead ex. 🤬🤬

Yes, . I read that novel just out of curiosity because i thought since this show has such feel good vibe, novel would be same but turn out ML was total toxic guy who loathed FL for being alive. That Novel is totally RED FLAG.

According to show (till epi 6) Su tian is ML childhood friend both used to live together in orphanage. But ML got adopted first, they made promise they will meet again when they will grow up , he will take her with him but She died in accident , ML mistakenly assumed that FL is Su tian, as he never saw her before. Consider Su tian ML childhood dead LOVER LOL. I dont want spoil more

Flashback scene is same as novel just milder version like in novel FL tried to do suicide by jumping into river, his childhood ex died saving her. So she owned her life to her. While in show its shown to be accident. In show present scene it shows ML has move on from her ex ,in novel he blamed FL for her death, why didnt she died instead. He never got over his ex till end of novel.
