i use 3s skipping (not 5s) with keyboard. 3s is my sweet spot for skipping. that way, i won't miss the story, without being disturbed by annoying parts when the drama writer goes crazy with his/her writing.

yes, i love the first frost. it' totally entertaining and has satisfying ending, like finding a gem in the mud.

yes, that's what i know. but i want a deep happy impression and good sleep, since i'm looking for an entertainment. if it doesn't entertaint me at the end, then it's failed me, in my view, no matter how good the journey at the middle. i believes being sad or being "what? is it finished?" at the end, is not entertaining. i just have some personal preferences and limited tolerance about cdrama 🙂

i call it recycle bin tropes. it includes amnesia, denial, noble idiocy, self-stupid sacrifice, breakup after being together, time leap separation, holding proper explanation, stupid forced misunderstanding, etc.

no, the audiences don't love it. maybe for the first reason.

producer : "hey, the ending is so fxxxxd up. so let's deceive the viewers with the poster"

so, is it another drama with " interpret the ending as you like" ending?

after ep 35, many viewers have new appreciation toward fast forward button.

i'm currently watching si jin. there's a love triangle i think, but the main leads don't sway. this kind of trope is still in boundary of my tolerance 🙂

i was just saying about my preference when a drama put romance in it. I'm watching a drama to get entertained. when it starts give me a feeling of annoyed, for me, it means it has failed its purpose as an entertainment. so, people just have different preference and tolerance about dramas 🙂

if he's not the first choice/crush, the best he can be is the second. this kind of romance trope doesn't work for me. I'm fine with any-angle romance, as long as as the main leads don't have change of hearth. an Ex is okay as a backstory, but no-no as the main plot flow.
