i feel reluctant to finish this drama, still below ep 30 after few days. so can someone please spoil me, is there any romance (not depressing romance, but heartfelt one that normal people would love to see) after ep 34 that worthy to look for? or it's just mainly filled with upsetting one? thank in advance.
She shouldโve stayed as ML sister until she regained her memory before liking SML then focus on ML investigation…
i've seen in other cdramas this kind if trope, where the romance goes wrong direction first, an i hate it. everytime i encounter this trope, i just tell myself, "yeah, this is cdrama. what can i hope.putting useless annoying tropes is just their arsenal -_-""
I get you honestly. I was hoping the last episode would be enough to give us a happy ending but that didn't happen,…
we know she doesn't mention it because the writer intended for her not to mention it, and provided some background and reasoning to make it looks "logical" from some perspective. see? this is just a "the logic" that's been forced to the viewers, by the writer/iQIYI/Production team/AI or whoever has the upper hand in deciding the ending. it would take a different route if they intended to make a happy ending, and worked with all the background and reasoning needed to make it "sounds logical' to be happy ending.
it's the same for "responsibility" and "amnesia". just a background and reasoning provided the writer when they've already decided to make ithis drama not-happy ending.
some say it's logical ending. i think if this drama ends with happy ending, they would also say it's logical ending. no matter what the ending is, when it's done, we just have have to accept "it's logical', since the water's already spilled, just to console some dissatisfaction. (this is the 1st time i write comments on 1 drama more than 2 times, just to express the disappointment that's built up about the ending)
I'm just speculating here as I don't know the timings at all. Could it be they had to rush or never shot a happy…
i don't think so. it's just Chinese costume drama mindset and culture that accurs again and again after so many year dissatisfaction from global viewers -_-
this is a drama, not real life or documentary. any absurdity can be made "sounds logical" in fictional sense if provided with proper background and reasoning. so, for any drama, i don't think sad ending is more logical then its counterpart. it's just about what the production team/writer/director/OTT/AI's intention and choice. the question is, who they want to satisfy. the audiences or their own ego as the one who can play god to decide the story.
You can watch until the end in my opinion. Since you already seem to know it's an open ending, you won't be shocked.…
i'm afraid now i don't have enough motivation to watch it until the end. feels like i deliberately step into a mine that i know it will blow me. so, my plan is to watch it till 30, or 34, just as suggestions below. thank btw ๐
i'm at ep 26, but already read the comment about the "let's torture your sleep ending" ending. so, can anybody give some advice, at which ep should i drop without loosing too much fun? i don't want to feel "moved" or "deeply impressed" by the ending, as intended by production team/iQIYI/artificial intelligence? thank you in advance
haha, i knew it. Somewhere, the production team/iQIYI is laughing on the viewers ranting about the ending, while counting the profit they made. they're just too eager to leave a deep impression for the ending, even if i tastes bitter. and to maintain stereotypes that's been built many years.
In my opinion, it's because a lot of people watch dramas to feel emotions. And when you have a non expected ending,…
yes, I agree with you about wanting to feel emotions. but I'm also looking for entertainment. for me, feeling depressed at the end just invalidate the purpose of being entertained. i'm fine with any emotions in between. up dowm during the episodes is what make a drama. but i prefer sweet closure at the end, as a compensation of emotional turmoil in between. I'd like to know how a drama ends, not about the story, but about what kind emotion i would get after spending hours of staring on monitor/tv/mobile. so i always avoid a drama if i know before hand that it's going to be not-happy ending.
i believes that almost nobody would say "i"m happy because i'm going to watch a sad/open/'decide it by yourself' ending drama. so, why do they keep making one? who do they make a drama for? i'm not saying this drama would be not-happy ending. i'm just preparing myself for "i knew it's going to be like this" ending.
it's the same for "responsibility" and "amnesia". just a background and reasoning provided the writer when they've already decided to make ithis drama not-happy ending.
(just my opinion, though)
