I think in many (c)dramas, the story doesn't decide the number of episodes. rather the demanded number of episodes decides how the story goes. so the producer would be like, " hey, the OTT wants new material to sell. We need to make a drama for XX episodes. find a good enough story, then trim it or stretch it as needed !. chop, chop, people, time is money ! we don't try to get an award here, so don't ponder too much about how the the viewers would think. but make sure that the couple first episodes can attract them!. Leave the damage for the middle and the end, as usual. In The Mighty Filler we trust"

more like a ritual in cdrama land. if not followed, you'll get heavenly punishment for writing a whole good drama 😑

yeah, i also hate the notorious-amnesia-trope the most 🤣 and only writers with great CHI can work without that arsenal of cliches, and they are rare.

i think it's chronic disease for cdrama writer when the have writing block. they just resort to "noble idiocy" or "amnesia" for easier breakthrough.

ep 6. of course it's must be started with misunderstanding. why even bother to hope for something different with cdrama?

Tony stark : "who did write this messy, illogical, abusive drama?"
Drax : "I'll give you a better one. why the hell did she/he write this messy, illogical, abusive drama?"

the writer doesn't give a break. it's just ep 1 and i already want to slap some characters. i think the middle parts will be emotional torture, but I hope not.

and high blood pressure medicines.

No matter how many times people complain on not-conclusive-happy-ending in cdramas, the writers jus like "naaah, we're the gods in term of dictating the end, and we don't want for you to be fully satisfied at the end, we hate it if you get a good sleep after watching our dramas"

I just think, if his end doesn't involve an attempt from the writer to gain a little sympathy for the bad guy, it would be more satisfying to watch.

come again, is it really necessary to make the delusional jerk a hero at the end?

after spending 49 eps, the ML died. why writers/directors, why? is giving a happy closure something against your belief system? or maybe you just want to guard some trademarks in chinese dramas? or maybe you're just love to torture the viewers at the end, as a kind of satisfaction for you as people who can play god in dictating the story's plots? or maybe you think that a happy ending is too ordinary, so non-conclusive-happy-ending is more suitable for you as smart, sophisticated, cultural people? or your just don't give a damn since at the end you'll still get paid for your work? (it's a ranting)

i think the writer of this drama has mother issue.

i hope the writer doesn't get "non-happy ending is sophisticated" disease.

can't they stop making questionable ending? it's not something to applaud on.

i hope somebody sending this review to cdrama writers.
