Get over it.
Just as you are allowed to have your repeated and never ending commentary supporting the abusive behavior towards celebrities with obvious mental health and addiction issues, so are the rest of the viewers who disagree with the unhelpful and abusive responses to those that obviously need mental health support. If you're going to keep posting on every single thread, perhaps try to reflect and take responsibility for how the hypercritical culture leads to exacerbation of mental health and addiction crises. Opting to have a bit more constructive response is ultimately better for all.

Why would we support Ryu Jun Yeol when he left his ex AND his current girlfriend to dry on the news? He kept silent…
It is so odd to see people going on and on about the one person in the situation that didnt act like a messy fool on the internet. Dude was just living his life while the women around him went nuts. He's the only one that acted mature in the situation by keeping quiet.

Obnoxious much? Korea gave you these actors, it can take them away again. Who do you think you are? It's nothing…
What. Your entire argument makes no sense. Hallyu wave by definition is the expansion of Korean entertainment to global markets. You might want to reassess your take on globalization of entertainment. There are plenty of countries contributing to the global entertainment market and given Koreas birth rate as it currently stands the Korean entertainment industry is shooting itself in the foot by dragging takes like yours into a global market. If industries don’t evolve they die as history has shown. All you’ll end up doing with your antiquated and uneducated moral code on addiction and it’s response is push some of your best actors into markets that will support them while encouraging them to seek the help they need. good luck continuing on your high horse. You’ll need it.

That may have worked out pre global streaming. It doesn't work that way anymore. If a country wants to get the benefit of a global audience then they need to also deal with global response on their choices. Any number of Korean actors are more than capable and have worked in the industry outside of Korea.

Korea Star Daily released this article saying RJY did speak up and confirm he was dating HSH https://www.koreastardaily.com/tc/news/152338.…
Yep, saw that. At this point with how kpop stans act I'm surprised he was willing to release anything at all after both girls got messy. Hyeri finally came out and flat out said they were broken up before RJY started seeing HSH and admitted that the break up and discussions had been going on awhile before November, that she hadnt spoken to or seen him in 4 months and kpop twitter is still going off. How anyone has the willingness to date an idol these days is beyond me.

I'm afraid I am also on this this drama was bad bandwagon. The writing and story progression was just not good. It was a frustrating watch and tho I'm sure she is well loved by many, as far as I've seen (and I've watched several) SHK cannot act in romance roles. She needs to choose different scripts. She did quite well in The Glory in most of her scenes, but it was right back to the nondescript blank slack-faced stare that I guess is supposed to be her feeling love? romance? angst? indigestion? I don't know but it shows up every time she is in a romance scene and she looks like robot malfunctioning. This drama had so much hype leading up to it and it was a huge disappointment. That being said, I did like the second leads. If they had not been part of this drama I doubt I could have finished it or even gotten halfway through.

I know why they do it but really I do wish kdramas would quit with the 30+ actors playing their characters' teenager scenes. While some actors certainly can pass as teen from time to time, often they do not and interrupts the flow of world building / believability when its so noticeable. Bangs do not suddenly make a 35 year old man appear 15. The fuzzy filter really doesn't help as much as one would hope. I also would prefer to see more of the younger actors get their chance with these scenes so they get experience and a time to shine.
