I don't know what the obsession in c-dramas is to keep changing on-screen partners. If something has worked well then if opportunity presents itself do it again. I don't think anyone can sit here and tell me Wang Hedi & Esther have individually been in better dramas with others on-screen partners.

I know Shen Yue fans keep trying push narrative that she & Wang Hedi want to be in another drama together but that's false as Wang Hedi agency doesn't want her in a drama with him again because of her limited skillset but Esther is different. Maybe you are right, one thing I know is Chen Feiyu won't be in this drama

Kido Ma is at his best when he is the chaser. MVP. Every role he is the chaser and his fans love it

why you doubt? who do you think would fill this male lead role? i think if the opportunity presents itself take it.... end of the day Esther is an employee she needs to work, Wang Hedi gets a shot at a drama with a bigger than standard budget and decent cast, its a no brainer for me.... if schedules align why not.... i think both owe it to the fans to get it done if pieces fit, end of the day Chen Feiyu in the short term isn't doing anything with this scandal hanging over his shoulder

yes i think would be perfect, both seem keen to be part of a drama together. I think ZBB style better suited to other female leads but Lin Yi would accomodate SY well, again both seem keen, just a matter now pushing it through

Apparently, drama with Tian Xi Wei starts filming in July so window now if Chen Feiyu gets replaced which i think will happen. Most weibo thinks Wang Hedi replacement makes the most sense.

Its win/win for all parties minus obviously Chen Feiyu.
Esther wins, Wang Hedi wins, Production wins

I am really confused with the plot and the direction this drama is heading

i cant fault the acting, so far it has held up hence still watching but the story is confusing, it seems to be a happy work enviornment and characters aren't really complicated

Winter Night this year also very solid. Kido Ma soo much potential, he has the charm most actors dont

I have watched now upto E5, just ok so far. Bit of a slow burn but just thinking to myself part of a big build. doesnt seem to have a big cast. Just a basic setting

Kido Ma is the star. He rocked 'Hello the Sharpshooter' and also 'Remembrance of things past'
I hope he doesn't get wasted in this drama

neither am i.... i think they are trying to make a Blue Lagoon type drama but for these dramas to work where you are literally cutting out the rest of the cast is.... you need a likeable female lead or chasimatic male lead.... i dont think either lead fits it.....

Kido Ma only only only reason watching this drama, seriously please dont waste this guy, if you have him utilise him.... lets see maybe they are building towards something good, 3 ep in im like hmmmm in dont know

This is a drama with mixed opinions and i think all valid to be honest.... Fact i watched 35 episodes i thought was ok, reason to watch a drama these days you really need to be invested, if you are not feeling it you will drop it early

Just for me and my opinion only the main leads were good and story was satisfactory, this drama lost points everywhere else being the supporting cast storylines. I didnt think this drama was boring at all, but i know this drama isn't perfect either. Sometimes its cast that saves dramas like this.... Jasper i couldnt stand in Use for my Talents however i felt Charles Lin saved that drama with his heroine.... if people say they felt no chemistry between the leads, i wont disagree because again i know this drama has its flaws and in that flaws maybe i fail to really observe more flaws and its not just 1 person saying it

Jasper i just keep seeing it from him. I hope they continue this same trend from him and the selection of strong female leads. maybe next time they can assemble better cast around them plus better storyline. i think reason he keeps getting main lead roles, maybe not with the real popular actresses in the industry, but to me that doesnt matter as honestly, so many of them have boring dramas

It's been ok. Leads have been solid and the characters they play both strong & set the tone early not entertaining love triangles either way. Villains been many have all been decent. Storyline been ok, not great but not really bad either.

Some support characters added value such as the kids, mother & villains. All this my opinion. Only 1 ep to go now

Jasper Liu keeps doing it!..... There is a reason i keep watching his dramas and thankful i dont drop them!.... Yin Tao excellent female lead alongside him.... I think the supports haven't been as strong but the leads have definitely carried this drama and carried it well into 35 episodes!

I have made it past 32 episodes, so likely to go the distance....

Solid drama I will say....

Hmmmm not sure it's a tough one for Shen Yue trying figure out compatible male leads for her. ZBB has a unique style I will admit to other male leads, I am very big Wang Hedi fan yet I thought ZBB did very well with Esther in the drama they did together. Esther herself as a female lead is unique and consistent in yer styles. Shen Yue I will say is up & down between Performances however I still believe good names maybe Tier 2 male leads that are very compatible with her, ZBB maybe not but others like Zhou Da Wei or Eden Zhao I think would be good with Shen Yue.

honest truth, i think this drama has peaked!
Jasper & Yin Tao have carried it as much as they could.
There is no strong supports, no strong second parirings and stale storyline.
Acting by the 2 leads is good, however like most dramas as a general, some can only carry it so far, will watch few more see if my mind changes

i think these kids Chen Zhe and Kang Ni are really outperforming the adults.... However all still very entertaining.....

I will laugh so loud if the love triangle of the series is the daughter with those 2 school boys. I think it might be trending in that direction.

Obviously two ladies will resume their friendship, key quote 'we are both jerks'

Honestly I don't think this drama is as bad as some people making it out to be. It's different. I am looking forward to the introduction of the guy in the museum, the blood hair guy. He will be an x-factor of this drama

I keep saying this about Shen Yue. Her fans want the best scripts and top Male Leads doing dramas with her HOWEVER & BIG HOWEVER the fans of those Big Male stars want Shen Yue to stay away from them full stop. I see it all the times on weibo. Her skills need massive upgrade especially when these guys are tackling on long complex scripts. Shen Yue needs hire someone help her also with choreography, she really needs improve her love performances with Singing & Dancing because that's what really sets the Top 20 Actresses and Top 20 Actors to the rest of the field, their ability to sell out concerts and get people tuning into their live performances

I think its ok, I watch heaps of c-dramas and tend to keep believing this is industry dominated by MALE SUPREMACY. Females need keep changing things up between dramas whilst certain males can retain the same persona , carries to next drama. Jasper is still the same Jasper.
