oh boi, thank God it's 2 eps today i find myself still laughing every time i reminisce on the look on SM's face during the wedding scenes. our guy is getting his hopes up, already anticipating their wedding consummation, only for DZ to start discussing a rebellion yet to happen.
also coming in to find DZ and her cousin already fallen asleep together on their matrimonial bed on their wedding night, lol. the look on his face was so priceless😂

some of the dramas she featured in that I've seen are Royal Rumors (FL with Jeremy Tsui as ML), Heroes 2022 (main role, with Joseph Zhang and Liu Yuning), and Legend of Xiao Chuo (supporting role). There's another she did with Aarif Rahman as the ML; the name is quite long; I can't remember it at the moment. but I've seen like 4/5 of the dramas she featured in
Today's episode was very satisfying and funny. Satisfying 'cause DZ's father finally grew a spine and defended DZ, and also 'cause wang Ying Xue experienced some setbacks.
Funny in the aspect of those marriage proposals, lol, also the scene where DZ's dad and the uncle bumped into her on the night of her supposed wedding causing the dad to scream, even I screamed while watching that.😂
What baffled me the most is what the ML's father did to him. I mean, is he really his father? He actually wanted him dead. Why?
If it's because he wants to clean the slate with the Jiang family, the wife is already dead; that is enough to cut off his ties with the Jiangs, and Song Mo is still his son after all, unless he feared Song Mo would avenge his mother's death (because I know in my gut he killed that woman, using her personal maid, then silencing all of them to keep that secret).
Another reason he might have wanted Song Mo dead could be if he's in any way involved in the Grand General's death and feared he might avenge the general. Speaking of this, I am suspecting the empress is the real mastermind behind the general's death.
that Dou Zhao's fifth uncle is such a xiao ren (villain).Though there are comments here saying Dou Zhao hasn't really changed anything since her awakening nor dealt with people that harmed her in her past life and are still harming her now, I think the drama is going to unfold gradually, and she will still deal with them; it's just not the time yet. I think the priority for her now is to first preserve Song Mo's life because that is the major factor that affects all.
For me , the Zornia case was dragged for too long I mean, I’ve seen dramas with more complicated and deeply rooted corruption plot that was solved in not that long of a time .
You would expect the combination of jiang xinbai(that was portrayed to be THE Sherlock Holmes or Di renjie) and the smart jianghu youyi , yan nanxi would be the bomb, even when suoluo joined the crew ( she’s supposed to be the one and only Intelligent noble for her to be the only female with a rank ) , yet nothing changed.
well I didn’t expect much from the likes of Shang bieli and his adopted elder brother (general Nan jifeng), cause those ones are military officers and may rather be less discerning. But I was still pained by nan jifeng’s death, like how could they underestimate the enemy like that! They seemed to lack foresight so the time it took them to reveal the mastermind and the circumstances surrounding Nan Jifeng’s death got me slightly disappointed. In fact it kinda even seemed that they didn’t actually uncover minister pei rather the guy just didn’t want to hide anymore and became more obvious with his intentions.

Hmmmmmm finally I finished this drama , I had to pause cause I was getting too busy. I think i paused when it was streamed to ep 27 , I resumed ep 28 Last night and finished it today and I must say , it didn’t disappoint.
So glad I was right about minister pei , I suspected him as the real mastermind quite early.it was the episode where jiang xinbai’s mother tried to match make her son and minister pei’s 3rd daughter ,his reaction then just wasn’t right with me , I think that was his second appearance on screen or so( not sure, maybe around ep 16)I’ve had my doubts since then until Lu dingzhao and his son in law died, I became 90% sure he was involved. When the Yan’s also made their appearance on the Zornia case , couldn’t have called that though , but I knew they were not the real mastermind because their rank is even lesser than the Lu’s
That yan biqing is a true villain (Xiao ren) I was glad he met his end on time too without sabotaging our 3rd couple’s life ( suoluo and ruoqian ) or were they the 2nd couple, lol can’t remember the order
Anyways it’s a happy ending and I’ve always preferred dramas with happy ending
I saw Zhang Ling He, and i read the plot, What first struck my mind was; hope this is not gonna be like the story of Kunning Palace (don't get me wrong, i enjoyed SKP too, but what's the fun in it if this one also turns out to be the same). its a rebirth drama, and im glad that unlike SKP, both leads have memories from their previous lives, making it more fun to watch
but i am also suspecting the second male lead, SRQ, was also reborn with memories from their past lives, 'cause thats the only explanation i can give as to why he was present at that spring banquet and his actions thus far.
What is going on with the ratings it deserves more
beats the hell out of me too!I started the series yesterday and this is my first time checking it on DramaList since it aired, and i am shocked to see the rating as 8, Mehn it deserves more cause im enjoying every bit of it
