Title Go Ahead Spoiler
At episode 26, and this drama has one of the best characterisation in Chinese dramas. All the leads and side characters are well written but the plot sucks at a few points
1. Female Lead's father had a good characterisation, but they potrayed him as too good of a person, that oversweetness was really bad. The way he talks with Zi Qi's mother was one of his worst scenes in this drama.
2. Male Lead's mother was one of the characters who had poor Characterisation and sucked the plot at many points, to the extent that I skipped 90% of her scenes. Though they had multiple tragedies, no mother would have the heart to accuse their child of a death. She was literally potrayed as a really good mother who did all her mistakes because of situations, but all I ever felt was her selfishness and hatred towards her. When the entire family had gone through the tragedy, she thinks she is the only one who suffered and felt that living with him would make her die. she is one lowlife of a mother, and I have never seen one in my life like her who would desert her son in the time of his difficult tragic situation. And then after a decade she appears and feels remorse. Go eat dog shit. She then takes him back for seven years and suddenly start separating him from his father. How much worse could the writers make her huh. That too isn't the only problem. She divorced him, left him with his father, married a rich man and lived her life to her fit. Why should she come back and shatter her husband's life again by pulling away his only son and leaving him alone. If I had a mother like her, I would rather skip schools, or take an educational loan rather than depending on a bastard like her.
3. And finally the love triangle was really unnecessary in this drama. I couldn't still undestand why both the brothers have to fall in love with the same woman. Though I could feel King Xiao's reasons, I never felt once that zi qi loved her unless his friends forced. Still I don't think zi qi would have fallen in love if his care for his sister wasn't misinterpreted by his friends. I am a hater of triangles, but don't worry. This drama could be said as a love polygon, but the main triangle isn't annoying as the female lead is mature when it comes to relationships, and the male lead is open minded in talking to female lead.
As far as I have watched, I have skipped many scenes, but am enjoying this drama very much. The drama became really good as the romance kicked in. If it weren't for the male Lead's mother, I would have enjoyed it more.

At episode 12 and I can't understand one thing. Isn't there merit based government universities in china, that has relatively lower fees than private ones?? Since most of the education system is similar to Indian ones, I thought there would be one. In India for merit students, tuition fees for medical is 180 dollars a year, and engineering cost mostly around 1000-1500 dollars a year. This is one easily payable amount by a middle class family, compared to the their average yearly expenses. Why should they depend on others to pay it??

Completed this drama, and among all the characters, I liked only 4 characters in this drama. The male lead, Kang Se Ah, Hoondong, and female lead's sister. Hoondong comes off as irritating and annoying in the initial episodes, but his character far exceeds that of female lead, when he takes responsibility of her sister. The female lead accuses Hoondong of breaking up in the first few episodes, but who will accuse her of the two timing she did in the later episodes?? Male lead too comes off as annoying at first, but I liked him right till the end. Female lead was one of my favourite characters in the drama only until episode 6. From episode 7 her character was poorly written till episode 12. They try giving her a makeover in episode 13 and turn her to normal, but her two timing on male lead was downright annoying, and that made me hate her character. And I couldn't understand one thing. She thinks whatever she does is not wrong, but when the male lead does the same thing, it is wrong. She doesn't feel wrong to work with second male lead, but she feels jealous when male lead works with second female lead. What literal crap!! Second male lead started off annoying and remained annoying all through the series. I didn't bother watching the scenes of other side characters, since none other were good and mature enough as adults. But Hoondong's story started off bad, but takes off later in the series. This drama started off good and was okay until episode 6. There was very subtle romance and an annoying second male lead in the first 6 episodes, which was bearable and okay. But from episode 7-12, the writer seemed to have fulfilled all his fantasies with the female lead, because she does everything a woman can't do in these episodes ( not sexually, but she treats both the male leads like they are part of her reverse harem). She kisses the male lead and then contemplates that it was an accident, kisses second male lead, then kisses male lead and again contemplates it as accident. Only thing she's left to have done there is s*x, and t*******e. She felt like like a slut in these episodes. How could a kiss be an accident, and how could she go around doing it like eating a donut. I agree male lead too was somewhat bad in these episodes, but compared to other characters, he is one of the characters who I found bearable and didn't overstep his boundary. He clearly rejects the second female lead, while the female lead constantly juggles between both of them, to enjoy pleasure with them( don't take me wrong, I meant emotionally). Episode 13 shows the female lead as a pushover and episode 14-16 repairs her character destruction and puts her back to normal, but it doesn't work that way. They basically though characterisation was building blocks that can be dismantled at one time and reconstructed at another time, but relationship and emotions are like glass, it is unique to a person and can change shape, but can never come back to its original once deformed to a great extent.

From episode 1-7, I would say it was okay, or rather a good drama, from episode 7-12 worst drama, and from 13-16, it is an immature drama. I would never recommend this drama to anyone, and if you are compelled on watching it, then be ready to skip many scenes of second male lead, and literally whole episodes in the middle if you want to avoid frustration over love triangle. There is no second lead syndrome here, as the second lead here is a lowlife, but in the middle episodes you will definitely feel a first lead syndrome as first lead was played around by female lead.

From the beginning I never thought that the 2 leads matched, but the story grabs your interest so fast you can't…
I too liked the second lead story. Is it well discussed in the drama, and can i watch this drama for the second leads story, or should I go ahead and skip it as I hated main lead story but really liked second lead story

At episode 13 and I realised that Kang se ah is a better woman for ki tae. Unlike the female lead, she doesn't play around with two men. As far as I have watched, I never felt second lead syndrome because the second male lead was twistingly annoying. If he suspects her of something, he should have asked her directly, or lashed out at her for keeping secrets, or broke up with her if he couldn't take it anymore. But secretly snooping behind your girlfriend means that you either aren't taking your relationship seriously and playing around with her or is obsessed with her, both of which are really bad. And now after 13 episodes I like Kang Se Ah more than female lead. Yeah, she has many flaws, she is obsessive, prys around and is manipulative, but she has one good trait which is most important in relationship, she goes behind only one man. Honestly, I would have put up with all that behaviour if I ever marry a woman like her, because I can bear anything and everything of my wife, other than her relationship with other man. At first I too thought that she was irritating, but as a man, I will put up with her irritating behaviour for her honesty. Now coming to the female lead, she was one of the most annoying characters in this drama. Until episode 7 I could understand her situation and didn't have a problem with this drama. But when episode 7 kicked in her feelings for the male lead and that kissing, I really wanted her quit her relationship with second male lead or distance herself from him. Already at that time I was annoyed when female lead forgives the snooping second male lead, and resumes her relationship which was toxic to swallow. And from 7 till 13 her emotions keep on juggling which was downright annoying, and I felt sorry for the male lead there who was making good efforts. That's when I realised the sincerity of Se Ah. The female lead kisses both the leads like eating chocolate, roams around with both leads and doesn't stand strong to confess her feelings to one of them which was the most annoying thing in the drama. While I never had a second lead syndrome, I had a severe first lead syndrome in this one, as he was played around by two annoying characters. I am still watching this drama because of the male lead. I am a hater of love triangle and should have never picked up this drama, but my friends recommended it and I think I made a serious mistake of watching this drama. If you are a love triangle hater like me, keep away from this drama.

At 5th episode and the second male lead is downright lowlife. Female lead isn't in a relationship, so her feeling attraction isn't a wrong thing. But the second male lead, knows that female lead is marrying male lead, and they both are in a relationship (he doesn't know the truth). So, how could he lay hands on another man's girlfriend? As far as I watched, only the second male lead in this drama is annoying and lowlife.

On Another Miss Oh Dec 8, 2021
I never understood why the just oh hae young was called ugly in this drama. Surely she didn't stand out as a model, but among us commoners she can be considered as one beautiful woman. Surely Jeon Hye bin was beautiful, but one look at her, and you can identify that she walked out straight from a model shooting, not as a manager. Seohyun jin had that natural beauty, according to me, and I found her much better than Jeon Hye bin. And this drama writer must be a huge fan of cdramas, because in 10 episodes I watched, he heavily incorporated beauty standards in the drama which is absent in Jdrama, Lakorn and Kdrama, but is annoyingly present in cdrama and taiwanese drama. I don't know about the office, school lives in Korea, but what they potrayed in this drama is downright crap, and heavily over the top. But these are minor ones and never influenced me while watching the drama. But I dropped this drama because of the male lead. I am usually not a fan of arrogant male lead, and dropped tens of dramas with arrogant male. In this drama the male lead was not only arrogant, but also had a severe communication disorder, and shouted out like he swallowed a loudspeaker. Contrary to the comments, I never felt that male lead's revenge was a very sinful thing. Surely it affected many people, but he didn't do it on purpose and it was a mistake. The second female lead also had a severe communication disorder, who could have discussed with the male lead about the recording rather than running off and embarrasing everyone of their household. It wasn't like she's marrying his mother, and the male lead didn't commit a horrible act like cheating on her. And if she ran off the wedding after hearing the recording, then why would she return back? I usually skip dramas which has severe communication disorder, as I was heavily frustrated by Reply 1997's communication disorder, so this drama didn't appeal to me. If you like characters who don't speak out their minds and keep it inside for very long time, then you will like this drama.

And if this season was entirely focused on Jun moo do young relationship, I would have given it a 10 but I am giving it a 7.5 because they only had one episode. This couple is the only one I enjoyed the most in the series, and I rewatched their episodes more than 10 times, but am still not bored.

Jiwon had a very bad character writing in this drama. She let the homewrecker seungheuk take the better of her and her relationship in this season. But I could never feel how koreans could breakup in an instant without thinking and having a long talk over it. It's not like seungheuk has kissed her, and heunseung could have talked her with her thoroughly. But Jiwon's character was very worse that she started going out immediately with seungheuk after their breakup.

Glad they pushed off homewrecker seungheuk out of the drama. How is he a sweetheart, when he tries to pursue another person's girlfriend. While approaching her after her breakup is not bad, but he was the reason they once broke up in season 2, and there's no way I am going to like a guy like him. There are several other women in the university, why should he pursue a taken woman so fiercely, crap!!
