This movie was really good. The female lead though was bad at first, I liked her as the movie progressed. And the final problem is mostly because of male lead. While female lead should have said it before, the male lead shouldn't have to be spineless. When the villain tells him the truth, rather than being a good Samaritan, he should have confronted his wife about it. It is their family problem, and how could he let the villain manipulate him. They are married now, and the male lead should either think about accepting the child however it may be or get a divorce, if he can't accept. And to my opinion, the male lead should have accepted the child, because the mother changed then, and she started loving the male lead. But the male lead remains spineless and let the villain take the female lead. The villain never took care of the child, then how could he come and claim as its father?? And how could the male lead sit back and watch it. If every biological child should always be with its biological father, then there won't be any adoption or orphans. This case is very similar to adoption, but what the male lead did was very bad. The Female could have explained everything if the male lead hadn't spouted nonsense. And the female lead shouldn't have gone back to the villain, but she could've thought he turned a new leaf for the better, but she realises the harsh truth. But the ending was really good, and the overall movie was really good. I gave it a 8.5/10 and deducted 1.5 for the male Lead's actions in the climax problem. But still 8.5 is a very great score which I give for the best rom-coms.
Is it me or the actress who potrayed Ra Young looked more like Park Shin Hye to the extent that I felt that one had done plastic surgery to resemble the other.
Don't watch it if you hate MY FAIR LADY and other crap dramas, where male lead will reject the second female lead who is kind to him and keep on pursuing the evil main female lead. I completed episode 12 of the drama, and watched the last episode of the drama to check if the male lead ends up with second female lead, but no, he doesn't. What is with the sister crap and first love crap. If according to this drama first love is everything, then 90% of Indian male should end up being bachelor. I am frustrated as to how I could pick up such a crap. Compared to Waikiki and other realistic dramas, this drama is a shit. Wasted 48gb and Avistaz download on it. Crap crap crap!!!
This story was shit. The reason? Cheating husband then get forgiven, that was a crap for the FL. It would be better…
Thx for the warning bro. I don't know why Koreans make such crap and legalize cheating. I watched a similar one MY WIFE IS HAVING AN AFFAIR NEXT WEEK, and for the next week I kept on badmouthing it in frustration. Such crap are also rated highly by MDL users which is disappointing. I actually thought this would take the turn of OVERBOARD US MOVIE, but thanks for warning.
Completed ten episodes and every character is really good in this drama except Jun young and his uncle. His uncle…
Completed this drama, but the writing in the second half was really bad. Literally I skipped 80% of second half, particularly Episode 28-45. 1.First major fault was the incest story. Joong Hee started loving Mi young only after moving in. So, after moving in, he should have treated Mi young only as his sister. How could he develop feelings for his sister and if his father and hers were same, what would they have done. What good is forbidden love, when it is only hurtful and demoralizes living. I very much wanted him to get back with his ex girlfriend and that would have been a better story, but why bring all this incest crap?? 2. Why does Jin Sung Joon develop feelings for Mi young? Is she good looking, or wealthy or does he know her well enough for a very long time? Neither are the cases so you can cross out love at first sight, materialistic love and love after getting to know her. So that leaves none. Basically Jin Sung Joon falls in love with her either because of jealousy on Joong Hee or because Mi Young is a main character of the drama, so he should love her because of her good deeds. What a bunch load of crap. 3. The story of Ra young and her boyfriend was good, but was flawed at the end. I don't want to reveal any spoilers here, but Ra Young's boyfriend is a spoiled brat, who doesn't understand the value of money. When he realises that he can't afford a proper room and his father gave him another chance, he should have utilised it properly and earned well rather chasing his dreams like a spoiled brat 4. And finally Hye Young's story. That was another bunch load of crap, according to me. While Her mother in law was unreasonable at many times, she was not at fault at many moments. Hye young should atleast help her mother in law at weekends and dinners on weekdays. Her mother in law isn't a servant to keep on doing all of that. And what the hell with the contract. It's not to my taste, but they went over the top with her lawyer character, which was unbearable to watch. These three stories were the ones I skipped a lot, while I skipped each and every scene of the incest. The story picked up at episode 43-44 when Han Soo admits to his crimes, but I had lost all interest while the drama reaches that point. Still I gave this drama a 7.5, a pretty good score because of the solid first half, story of young shik and his family and Jun Young's story. This drama also taught me realistic problems of pregnancy, unemployment, satisfaction in our earnings, and hardwork in earning each penny. I wanted more of Min Ha's story in this drama, but this drama is all about Han soo's family, so there was no development in his romance story. I wouldn't recommend this drama, but if you want to be ready to either accept incest story, or press the fast forward button for every scene in second half. My mother liked this drama very much, but she is in her fifties and I am in my twenties.
Boring drama, dropped at episode 12. 12 episodes have passed but literally nothing changed between them. FL tries to impress male lead and male lead keeps on rejecting her. I usually like gender reversal dramas, but this one had no story at all. LOVE AT FIRST HATE, a thai drama has a similar story, but the execution is extraordinary, and there was no lag in the show. I gave 8.5 for that drama, while a 5 would be too much for this drama. This drama also uses the Chinese beauty standards(which is why I hate Chinese dramas) and that disappointed me, as I was expecting a doctor to act as a doctor, not a good looking Samaritan. And the male Lead's face literally made me vomit. I am somewhat gender biased here, but makeup in his face is really odd, and makes him look like a zombie. After DIVORCE LAWYERS, TO BE A BETTER MAN, and MATERIAL QUEEN, I haven't seen a good Chinese drama till now. Picked up SWEET TEETH and dropped it at episode 3, but I am going to pick up again since it doesn't have the Chinese beauty standards.
Completed ten episodes and every character is really good in this drama except Jun young and his uncle. His uncle…
I am at episode 17 and I can't understand why other children hate Ahn Joong Hee. He is a step brother, but all four of them are grown adults above 25 years right, not 11 year old to discriminate their half brother. And their half brother takes all that and still speaks well, and I really admire him in this drama. Their granny is a discriminating old hag, who still has the mindset that her own bloods are her only grandchildren. Throw her into the streets!! And those four children are very much arrogant to the kind half brother. I agree he has flaws, but he is more than willing to adjust to their lifestyle, and he took in all their hatred. And Mi young, I hated her completely in this episode. What happened with Yoo joo is a valid reason for her to avoid, but what did the half brother do? He was idiotic, but not arrogant. And he changed his ways of calling her intern. But what she gave back- ignorance and annoying words straight to his face. Edit: Completed Episode 21 and this drama again takes a positive and interesting direction. Hye Young's character is irrritating and her story is boring. I was afraid that Ra Young's story would take an annoying dramatic love triangle, but I hope not. And Mi young's character takes a u turn and it was difficult but her story became more interesting now, and my hate towards her started decreasing. Now I hate the Jun young and the grandma character the most in this drama. If I were Joong Hee, I would have hit back the old hag when she hit me. Those kind of hypocrite hags should never be respected. Most might disagree with my point and even my family members do, but I still feel that way. And Jun young, that annoying brat, after troubling his father so much, couldn't he get along with his half brother and help his father. He is the epitome of selfishness. And Ahn joong Hee is the star of this drama. I first thought he was going to spoil the drama, but he and the parents were the only ones who pulled me through episode 15-20. He's similar to Seo inguk in shopping King Louie, and that's why I like him. If I were a woman, I would have loved him, but I am a man and I can only see him as a man, but not a coward like Jun Young, but a man like the father Han Soo, who is brave enough to bring in his friend son. Thumbs up for the writing.
Completed ten episodes and every character is really good in this drama except Jun young and his uncle. His uncle is a house husband, and he should be kicked out of the house for a while so that he would learn his lesson and earn decently for his family. And Jun young should add some salt to his food. Where did he hang his shame and manners and responsibilities. Sitting for civil service for five years itself is a shameful thing, but adding to it, lying to his girlfriend about his status, impregnating her and never contacts if she tells not to, and worst of all how could he hide it from his parents until his girlfriend tells them. He is the worst guy ever and I feel sorry for his girlfriend. Even though his girlfriend treated others badly, what did she do to deserve such treatment from her irresponsible boyfriend?? And is he a dog, or is he a 8 year old. Other than them, this show is really good, but I never was interested in the long lost father story.
The best Thai Lakorn. I have watched 5 lakorns as of now, and out of the five, two were infidelity crap, one was indecisive triangle crap, and one was okay not good not bad. And I picked up this drama hoping that this would be another crap, and I would have to skip few episodes like I did with previous lakorn. But I can't believe myself. I skipped very few scenes throughout the entire and watched many episodes without skipping a single minute, and ended up rewinding many scenes to re-watch them. This drama has the cutest romance I have ever seen. THE MALE IS NOT A STALKER!! For all viewers here, the male lead is somewhat of a pushover, but he doesn't do anything immoral and the female lead though complains never hates his actions and doesn't feel threatened by him. So if other side doesn't feel frightened, then what's the problem here. The only minor flaw in the show was the female lead's character. She's too reserved and ends up lying throughout the show except the last few episodes. While lying isn't bad, and she feels shy, excessive of it is somewhat irritative. But the male lead here is the best thing in character, and he actually put up with her lies and understands her very well. Thus, their romance was very cute and sugary and addictive. And female lead being shy is not bad or unrealistic. JUST BECAUSE SHE'S AN ACTRESS DOESN'T MEAN SHE'S A ROBOT RIGHT?? Saying she shouldn't feel shy because she's an actress and would've had many similar experience, is like saying that an actor who had acted in many sex scenes won't feel the urger to have one in real life. Professional and personal life are different and life before screen is totally scripted. And the villains in this drama was somewhat okay. I first sympathised with the female villain, though she did many wrongs to the female lead, because the villain was discriminated in the media while the female lead had many chances because of her complexion. So, I felt that she received injustice and her sister didn't seem helpful to her because of their complex relationship. But when the villain crossed borders and tried some really dangerous thing, not willing to spoil here, I hated her for two to three episodes. But the final episode wrapped up the villain's story beautifully, and I felt relieved. The only character I hated in this drama was the female lead's mother. She's such a bad example of a mother. No mother, even if she had a hatred on her son in law, would destroy her daughter's life so that she could maintain her dignity. But the mother here was really bad, I think they potrayed it that way to create a second villain, but I couldn't stand her at all. But the female lead's father was really good, and saved the character of the mother from pulling down the show. The female comes off as irrritating in few scenes because of her siding with the mother, who I hate the most, but other than that, this drama is a really good one. Thumbs up for alll the technicians for working in a really good drama like this. My rating would be 9.5/10 while I gave 3 or 4/10 for other thai Lakorn I have watched. Don't miss out this cutie Lakorn!!
Totally agree It was best a 3 star or 6 out of 10 . Overrated because of Male Leads private life and fan girls…
If every user read synopsis before watching a drama, then how did dramas like Hwarang, and doom at your service became popular, when they literally have no story, but only stardom. This drama has a proper story, but I don't think this story is worthy of 8.9 stars and many places are heavily dragged. Do you think many have given this drama 10 or 9 just because of the story?? Bullcrap. This drama doesn't excel extraordinarily like other dramas in this rating does. All dramas can't pick up on squid game. The drama should have a base popularity, which happened due to the stars, and with Netflix interference, I felt that this drama could have used its popularity. To push a drama to popularity without star cast, is a very difficult one and requires an extraordinary story not an average draggy one. Maybe some could have rated high because of the story, but most would have done it because of KSH or Shin Min Ah.
Now as mentioned by @Hime, I felt that this drama was crap. I felt that it could be watchable since love triangle would not be intense. But this drama was nonsense. From episode 1-6 this drama was very much bearable and okay drama. But from episode 7 everything went downhill. How could the father do such a thing? How could he bring his wife and hook her up with another man?? I'd rather let my wife die than doing such a horrible thing. That would be painful for the memories of his wife, who would've never thought of such a thing. Surviving by that way is not a way to live. He wasn't the only bad character in the drama. The female lead is even worse and she lead on two male leads while she remains indecisive even until the last few minutes. She should never give space for other men to take advantage of her or develop feelings for her, when she already has someone who is warming up to her. But she didn't and remained a playgirl(in the meaning of female version of playboy) and enjoys going around with both men. Forgive me if I'm being harsh or orthodox, but such an action is definitely unforgivable. The female lead should be clear of her feelings, and not lead on both men. And what is with love not by potion crap?? It's true that he started loving her after drinking the potion. The love could have been a lie, but the happiness and satisfaction he felt with her could not be a lie, and is it really necessary for him to drink that potion. He should have poured it on the ground and be confident of his feelings. But if he did that drama would have ended in the next episode, but he didn't, and the draggy story kept on dragging. And I think the director or writer was changed to an unprofessional one towards the end of the series, because the series became totally ridiculous towards the end. Unnecessary scenes, scenes that were Directed to be funny but ended up being irritating were so many that I literally skipped two episodes in the middle and was still able to understand the story. And the second male lead. How desperate are you, to go after a woman who already has a man approaching her. It is true that they weren't dating at that time, but how shameless and lowlife can you be fighting with a man over a woman, when the other two are slowly warming up to each other. Both of you had known each other in say elementary school, but does elementary school friendship turns into love?? I doubt that. While I was in elementary school, we doesn't even knew what love was and why we get attracted to women. How could he be so mature as to instantly like at that age. And then coming back to her after 14 years, what the crap. the male lead was the only character I liked in this drama, but they turned him into a madman, literally a man with no sense, in the later half of the drama. Third thai Lakorn in a row I am hating. There are many good comments for this drama, and I too was fooled into watching, but I don't want future MDL users to suffer the same fate as me by watching this crap. Take your own risk.
Edit: I completed this drama right now. According to my view, this drama can be seperated into three partsEpisode 1-12 Part 1Episode 13-23 Part 2 Episode 23-26 Part 3I divided the series into these parts based on the level of quality. First part is toxic and utter crap. I skimmed through the 12 episodes in less than 4 hours or maybe 3 hours. That was because every story in the first part was heavily toxic. Toxic to the extent you might want to burn down the characters in frustration. There were four couple stories in first part. One is the elder brother one where the husband cheats on his wife happily. His wife, constantly suspects on him, but never takes action. The husband is toxic. But there is one more character in this drama who is more toxic than him. It was Kaew. I initially mentioned that I was looking forward to her romance. But after watching 12 episodes, I wanted her to add some salt to her food, so that she could get some manners atleast by eating salt. She is a high class slut, or you can say callgirl, who sleeps with beautiful and handsome men, but not for money, since she is already filthy rich. I don't want to dirt myself by talking about that slut. There is also another husband and wife, I don't remember their name, where husband constantly ill-treats his wife and never takes responsibility of familyman. I hated him to the core in the first part, started liking him towards the end of second part and at the end of third part, I felt that he was the best character in the whole series, even better than the male lead. And his wife too was one of the most liked characters for me in the entire series. I skipped their scenes in the first part, but later I liked their cute scenes in the second and third parts. Guys like him can be given another chance, not cheaters like the elder brother. Male Lead's niece was another annoying brat, who I thought was 12 years old, because she went around with a man just because he sweet talked her. All of her relatives are warning, but she's ready to believe a man whom she knows for barely a few months, over her relatives whom she had known for several years. I support love, but toxic love is a definite no no, and what kind of crap love would win over their familial relationship. So her love story was also really bad. And finally the male Lead's story. That was the bearable one of the bunch, but literally nothing moves in their love story in the first part. It stays stagnant like a pond water. Now coming to the second part, this is the best part of this drama. From episode 13 this drama caught on to me and I liked it very much until episode 22-23. The husband and wife where husband ill-treats her wife takes an uturn. Their relationship was the best of the bunch. The husband became even more caring and his wife tries to get her sweet revenge on him. But at the end of the day, they are husband and wife, and I liked them very much. And next comes the male Lead's story. Male Lead's story again remains stagnant in this part but their interactions were somewhat cute and I never wanted to skip it. The slut sister of the male lead was totally cut off in this part except 2 scenes, which were the most annoying in this part. The writers seemed to have learnt a good lesson and cutoff the slut from this drama. And the cheating husband story. I am a person intolerant to infidelity, and in this drama, they took it a step even further by making the husband sleep with a minor. What the hell! She's a minor and he, who has grown up to the size of a buffalo doesn't know how to keep his penis in his pants!!! In the name of sexual frustration, what kind of crap are you doing. Most South Indians like me retain our virginity till 28-29 years, and we have lot more tension on settling down in life than you rich brats do, but why don't we feel the same sexual frustration that you do?? It is just his desire. With money comes desire and with desire comes sorrow. These kind of sugar daddy must be put behind bars. Since I skipped most scenes of this bastard, I never felt the frustration as in first part. The male Lead's niece again remains as a 12 year old, who tries going back to her boyfriend, but her story was saved by her partner who was firm in this part and gave a tough time to the villain. So I somewhat liked their story. Now comes the third part. I think this part was either written by a twelve year old, or the writer was inspired by a twelve years old student's family story. This part became more and more immature as the drama reached the ending. Probably because the writer was running out of ideas. Again in this part I liked the husband and wife's story where the husband initially ill-treats his wife, but later learns his lesson. They are the cutest couple and the only couple I kept on liking even towards the end. The second one is the Male Lead's niece. Their story has the least focus, but within their scenes, they grabbed the stage. I never bothered to watch the cheating bastard's story, but as far as I know, I think he finally meets his doom. He has a sad ending, but only for him. It was a happy ending for me. The main couple's story dropped quality, as they reached the end of the drama. Why should male lead make up instant statements in front of his father, who had undergone bypass surgery. He must have consulted with his girlfriend before mentioning anything. Is he trying to appease his father by such statements and hurt another. That was the most ridiculous thing in this drama. The main Lead's story took the centre, and the involvement of both of their families made this last part as immature as possible. And their story had the worst ending possible. The last two episodes are the most ridiculous ones I have ever watched. And I hated Male lead's father. He rejects male Lead's niece's partner just because he is poor. But what good does money do. The poor man was more faithful to his girlfriend than the rich elder brother who was a total ass, and abused his money to his own benefits. Anyway the father changes for the better and all except the cheating bastard gets a happy ending. Though immature I liked the third part over the first part. Immature is far better than toxic. Now, I would never ever recommend this drama to anyone, but if you are compelled to watch it because of the cast, be ready to skip several episodes worth of the drama. This is my second thai lakorn in a row that I am hating. Why do all thai lakorns focus on cheating. While this one was okay, the previous lakorn I watched, Deceitful love, was even worse where every male was a cheating bastard. Of you are okay with infidelity, you might like this drama, but honestly, infidelity is really bad, and should not be treated lightly as shown in these lakorns. Divorce is the best treatment for cheating bastard, or the other partner would end up suffering for the rest of their life. I would never watch Thai Lakorn based on family ever again. Huh! What a waste.
Totally agree It was best a 3 star or 6 out of 10 . Overrated because of Male Leads private life and fan girls…
You're on spot bro. The fuel on Kim Seon Ho scandal was burning bright at that time, and this drama came right at that moment. And this drama picked up on rankings in Netflix during the release of Squid game, so I thought it could have been the reason, but your reason is even more accurate.
This depends on the country where you study. Anti-bullying programs are strong in Indian schools, and other than…
And also Indians doesn't raise their hands unwantedly as you mentioned. There's immediate suspension for violence, and though one student is much stronger than other one, they try to solve it without raising hands as the stronger person would not want to spoil his dignity by hitting a weaker one, and no student would risk getting suspended. Occasional fights occur but it is stopped by other fellow students before it becomes a full blown fight and abuse of power is not seen in schools. Thank God I have completed my schooling in India. Academics wise Indian schools are difficult, but you can't have such benefits like these in schools of developed countries, where abuse of power is seen.🙏🙏
