1. The Male Lead could have done something to make the Female Lead remember that day. The Female Lead herself…
i am not contradicting the point, and am still think male lead should have taken an initiative. why should he wait for the female lead to remember?? well, actually he didn't wait and he was content with his one day, but i as an audience wasn't contented by his actions and actually wanted the male lead to be there for the female lead though she may or may not remember. everyone is hesitant to take initiative, and male lead who took the initiative for the one day, could have took another one. Anyway it could be either of their faults for backing out, but i felt that male lead had a greater one, since he backed out willingly and disappeared entirely from her life. what's the point of having a life with hurtful relationship. you get to live only once, and you should be brave to do whatever you want to without hesitation.
this is the only drama as far as I've watched where the production, story, acting, Visual FX and ost everything…
1. The way they potrayed the heroes and villains were somewhat bad, in the sense, they potrayed the villains as very powerful and heroes as weaklings, until the last episode. One scene where there is a fight between death and villain, the way villain won was pretty bad. they say the opponent is death, and death should have immense powers, if he can rewrite the fate and has experience in dealing such criminals. But one touch by the villain and death is finished off. Literally, that was one pretty bad point in the story. Even in the last episode, the villain was very stronger than the hero, who was an afterlife police officer. they could have potrayed him slightly stronger, but the villain seemed to have the power of gods and can teleport to his benefits. If you are an action fan you won't mind, but I am not, and I felt that was the biggest let down in this good series. 2. In the way of joining every plotlines, they turned the plot into cheesy in the last two episodes. You might not notice it while watching, and i too didn't, but while writing this comment, i thought about the series again and again and i realised the plot was extremely cheesey in the last two episodes. i don't want to spoil even further, but they didn't have to add cheese to every major character in the series. And the series would have been even better without action in it.
Still this is one of the best series I've watched, and these problems are really minor ones. i gave this a 10/10 and didn't want to reduce it as this was much better than crappy popular dramas in mdl, and this surely deserved a 10.
this is the only drama as far as I've watched where the production, story, acting, Visual FX and ost everything was flawless. The story took a hit towards the end as the genre changed from comedy melodrama to action melodrama, and I hate Action dramas, so I felt that story could have stuck to the comedy melodrama which would have been even better. but I recommend this to anyone who likes light hearted show, and action is seen only in episode 12, which i think was the worst episode in this series, which i watched after skipping most of it. And why is the romance genre missing here. i completed this show, and felt that it could have a romance genre or atleast a slight romance tag. I am a hardcore romantic, and this show had enough romance like in waikiki which made me enjoy it. This drama had the best sound effects as far as i know, the female lead Hwang Jung Eum's voice along with the sound effects were very much funny, and several sound effects were used in various scenes to induce laughter and i appreciate their efforts. Though this series is flawless in every aspect, it had a few minor problems which i have discussed in the spoilers below.
1. The Male Lead could have done something to make the Female Lead remember that day. The Female Lead herself…
Though she doesn't remember him, he could always forge a new romance with her. Truthfulness and straightforward won't work in romance, atleast until our partner cools down to us. When you go and confess to s random person your truthful thoughts, she would find you creepy. He should have worked some methods while approaching the female lead so that she won't feel scared of him, and to be honest she wasn't as bad of a person that the director potrays. Lack of proper communication caused this. Still the movie was extremely good right till the ending, and I didn't like the ending because it was unsatisfactory. Maybe this might be my thought and not all five fingers are same🖐️✌️.
Why does it only have a score of 8? I mean many worse dramas have 8.3-8.5 rating...
Yes the gangster was badass in this one. I never like self righteous brats who would want to go only by the law, but the gangster here was total badass!!
1. The Male Lead could have done something to make the Female Lead remember that day. The Female Lead herself…
There's hope. In two scenes, in one of the scenes, she cries on seeing the video, why would she cry if she didn't remember him. And why would she shed tears for someone out of nothing, for pity, no. And in the final scene, the female lead mentions that he should help her get into the same company as him. While the final statement might not be that obvious, there somewhat of a hint that the female lead likes him. Now take an example, Suppose your wife or girlfriend has an amnesia and forgets entirely about you and remember only about her ex boyfriend who is a really bad man. Just for that reason, would you leave her just because she forgets about you and cherish your past life. If it were me, I would do whatever it takes to make her remember me, and though she couldn't remember me, I would try getting back with her by whatever means necessary, rather than letting her spoil her life with a bad man. And I'm damn sure she remembers that day, because of the scene where she never speaks a word after looking at that video. Though she might have loved him or not in the end, he never took a step to help her remember him. During that one day, the female lead pleads with him to help her after that day. It might be a difficult task, but no human relationship is impossible, and every human deserves a second chance. And in the final scene, she Apologizes for mistreating him several months before. Why would she Apologize to him out of nowhere, when she didn't all these months. This is all proof that she remembers that day, as he was the one told her about the incident on that day. While she remembers him, whether she has an interest or not is a speculation, and if I were him, I won't miss such a chance to get back with her.
He could no longer tell her openly because he had shut it down years ago and throughout the years she went from…
✌️ I am one of those persons who can't stand immoral dramas, while some others don't mind it. Each one's preferences are different and not all five fingers are same.🖐️
Around episode 3 and this is one of the best dramas that I have ever watched. Only drama that I watched without skipping. After having a headache watching Oh Yeon Seo's irritating acting in Come Back Mister, Hwang Jung Eum's acting seems much much better and likeable to me. This is just my perception, and I think many would agree with me.
That's like saying every office romance out there is copy of Secretary Kim.... Even if they're written BEFORE…
When did I ever say every office romance was a copy of secretary Kim. Maybe I shouldn't have said that, since copycat drama or webtoon atleast has a story copied from the original one, while office blind date doesn't even have a proper one. Where is the plot different. It's like taking a Dairy milk, adding more saccharin to it, wrapping in another outer cover, and claiming to be their own original one. How could both the plots could be way different. The core is copied, then settings, cast and secondary stories are changed and marketed as their original product. But still when consumers consume it, some can identify it is a copycat while some others don't mind it, while some others mesmerized by its sweetness support the company that it's their original product. I'm not a sponsor of those dramas I have mentioned and I don't need to advertise them as they themselves are popular, but it looks like you are a sponsor of the webtoon, or the consumer who was mesmerized by the false sweetness by the artificial sweetening agent. In both the dramas, the core plot is about the male lead who is a ceo, falls in love with his employee. If the webtoon changed the story at that point, it could have been an original webtoon. But what did it do? It took a risky step even further, by having the male lead actively seeking the female lead for marriage, when he doesn't even need to. In Secretary kim, they tied up the initial ridiculousness with a good reason, but falling in love at first sight in 2020s, total crap. Comparing the story I said far in this comment, it is clear that the writer ripped off the content from Secretary Kim, and added his own elements in secondary story to make it his original mix. Try bringing up a drama with the similarities I mentioned above, and we could conclude that it wasn't a rip off. And as far as I have read and watched, only these two perfectly matched with their main stories. Don't bring up contractual marriage dramas as similar ones, as in contractual marriage, the lead think of their advantage for getting into the marriage, and both of them agree for the marriage, but in both of the above ones, the male lead constantly stalks the female lead to coerce her into getting married, while the female lead doesn't want to. In secretary Kim, it was toned down a bit by cuteness and some sort of reasoning, while it was utter crap in office blind date, where the male lead doesn't even know the female lead before the blind date. I don't think you've got my point, have you??
He could no longer tell her openly because he had shut it down years ago and throughout the years she went from…
The girlfriend might be a secondary character, but the movie can't cast away a character like nothing. If the writer wanted the male lead to wait for the female lead, he shouldn't have created that character. Creating a character and discarding it away like a piece of trash just so that male lead could have a chance with female lead, literally breaks the base morality of the movie, and the movie seems to convey that first crushes are more important in your life than the current partner who loves you and trusts you, more than you think of it. Movies like DUDE IN ME, MY PS PARTNER and MY DEAR DESPERADO, all told good love stories without discarding other characters. I admit the final few scenes were really good written and shot, but those were the only good scenes in the movie. And while Female Lead kept on changing relationships, it is not only her fault. What did the Male Lead do all these years when he had so much time to confess his feelings. Maybe it might be difficult to confess to your friend, but it is even more difficult to sit around watching the person taking on other relationships. It's like you feel that she's cheating on your feelings and naturally you won't retain the strong feelings you had for her before. Well, since I was brought up in a traditional centuries old family in India, I have these kind of feelings since traditional culture is more strongly rooted in our minds, and we're taught to dedicate wholly to our current relationship rather than some old flame who doesn't even care. And each relationship is taken after several hundred thoughts. So though we might have first crushes in highschool, we forget about them and focus on our current relationship, since our current partner believes in us and 90% of romantic relationships in India often end with marriage, though there are several difficulties, and break up and divorce is very rare and occurs mostly because of cheating, that is mostly prevalent in heavily urbanized metros. A person who touches or roams around with another woman while in a relationship is considered a womanizer and a lowlife in India. And I think those kind of teachings are good which can promote monogamy. Maybe if I were brought up in a modern family outside India, I would've thought differently.

Well, there was a mixture of genre in the beginning. They started out with several different ideas but they finally stuck on to comedy and romance which was a very good decision by the writer and director. And if you like sweet romance like in this drama with no serious love triangles, try watching thumping spike series. The series though has a different setting, has a similar sweet romance, with no serious love triangle
This drama has one of the healthiest relationships ever in dramas. The love triangle was non existent and healthy, and we never feel Second Lead Syndrome because the director or writer emphasized that there isn't only one woman in the world. This drama is much better than reply series and many other dramas in the romantic department. Highly recommended for fans of Waikiki where similar kind of healthy relationships are portrayed.
At episode 2, but why do I get infuriated at Lee Hanee's character. She left the male lead at school days when…
Fast forwarded from 12 to 16 and completed the series. Shin Da Hye and Lee Hae Joon are my only favourite characters in this drama. Though Lee Hae joon could have distanced himself and reduced the pain of leaving on his wife, I don't blame him, since I couldn't either when the person before me is my wife, whom I loved. Even better than him is his wife Shin Da Hye, who is very much loyal to her husband even after his death. Episode 13 I think is the best episode of their interaction. Other than these two characters, I hated all other characters to the core in this drama. I slowly started liking Song Hi Yeon in this drama, but after episode 15, I hated her to the core. By episode 16, I wanted to get inside the drama and burn her to ashes. How could she get back with her toxic and manipulative husband just because Hong says so. All in all, she broke up and reunited with her husband, and in the meanwhile killed her own friend for her own benefits. I might be exaggerating here, but think again from the first episode, she is a rotten lowlife, who never even cared about her friend, while is more than willing to reunite with her husband who caused all this trouble. It was all because of her, that I had to skip through 12 to 16. I would rate this 5 or to be generous 5.5 or 6 at the most, just because of the Shin Da Hye/ Lee Hae Joon couple. I liked them so much that I wanted Shin Da Hye to unite with the real Lee Hae Joon who might not be as bad as Lee Hae Joon's coworker. Lee Hae Joon's coworker is another scoundrel, who was waiting for his chance to get back with Shin Da Hye. These kind of guys should hang themselves in shame for desiring another person's wife. At first I thought he might be a good man, as he comforted Shin Da Hye, but later in the series I realised that he himself tried to court her while her husband was alive. Thankfully Shin Da Hye never gave him that chance. Would never recommend this drama to anyone, though it had a splendid story, because of several toxic characters, I think 4 of them, Han Hong Nan, Song Hi Yeon, her exhusband(I don't know the name of that bastard who immediately changed from bad guy to good guy at the end of episode), Lee Hae joon's coworker. I never liked how they changed that scumbag of husband to good guy overnight. Overall this might be my opinion, but people who don't like toxic characters won't enjoy this drama as much. Sadly, this drama had good office politics story, but was bogged down by toxic characterisation.
