At episode 2, but why do I get infuriated at Lee Hanee's character. She left the male lead at school days when…
Does Lee Hanee's character suffer for what she deserves or is it turned around easily. I can't stand to see such characters live happily.😂😂 Edit: Completed Episode 8 now, and I feel that Song hi Yeon deserves what she did for. And I still can't root for her. And both the male leads are good Samaritan to a very great extent which is somewhat irritating. Han Hong nan is too good, that he would help the woman who caused him all this grief, and Lee Hae joon is a self righteous person, who after being in this industry for several years, doesn't know to use business tactics to expose the truth about his death. While Lee Hae Joon wasn't that bad, Han Hong Nan was annoying. Oh Yeon seo, who played the role, didn't know how to act, or learnt acting from japanese, as her acting was over the top and irritating. Her act of impersonating a man in woman, was too bad. I watched a clip of Shin Hae Sun in Mr.queen and her impersonation was hundred times better than what Oh Yeon Seo did. Next time, Oh Yeon Seo should not touch such roles when she sucks at acting. Her acting combined with the irritating good Samaritan thoughts of Han Hong Nan, made her my second hated character upto now. Rain's acting wasn't that bad to be noticeable, but it wasn't a stellar performance either. His role too wasn't that bad, as Lee Hae Joon was atleast able to distinguish good from Evil while Han Hong Nan sucked at that too. And ji hoon, Lee Hae joon's coworker was another irritating brat in this series. He was downright rotten, and they tried potraying him in a positive view by justifying his actions, but however justified, what he did was wrong, and he must be punished for his actions. He is the third character in this series that I hate. So far in this series, Lee Min Jung's character is the only character I liked. I am holding on this series because of Rain and Lee Min Jung's story. Han Hong Nan's story could have been better if his good Samaritan vibes have been reduced and an actress with good acting skills have been cast for this role. I never know why Korean industry too is leaning towards beauty rather than acting Skill. Japanese industry leaned towards it and now watching one of its dramas is very tiring, and I don't want Korean industry to get into the same problem. Rather than casting Oh Yeon Seo, who only has good looks, if they had cast Shin Hae Sun or any other actress with stellar acting skills, this character would have been even more enjoyable and less annoying. The story is not bad and draggy, but there are some plotlines in this which I mentioned above, that I disagree with. So, I can't get too much attached with both the stories.
At episode 2, but why do I get infuriated at Lee Hanee's character. She left the male lead at school days when he gets caught by the police, and that's okay too since she couldn't do that much at time since she was underage. But after that she never seemed to have contacted him, and after all he's done for her, she went behind a businessman and enjoyed to her extent, and only when she has a problem, she gets to remember him. How worse could a woman get than her. She knows the current situation and what would happen to him, if he hits another person, there's going to be some problem in his hands. But that bitch, still came to him for her selfish needs to get back her son, while she doesn't even care of what would happen to him. She's the epitome of selfishness and desire, and I very badly wanted her to die of poverty, cause such people, who utilizes others feelings for their own benefits should never get to live. Other than that selfish bitch, I love all other characters in this drama, and this drama seems to have an insane budget, just in the first episode. Seems that they have spent lavishly to bring back Harry Potter feels, and that was good. And the other story too started out good, but the corporate story seemed to be more confusing than Christopher Nolan movie. Looking forward to other episodes.
I was only going to watch this because I just rewatched Fated to love you and I wanted something with Jang Hyuk…
Though he isn't the main lead here romantically, but in other aspects you could mention him as the main lead. The other lead had his main part only in romance and cooking. He is the biggest badass male lead here, and is crafty enough to pull down the villain, and towards the end, they gave hints of his romance with another female lead. But the drama is really good, after the third episode and the friendship between him and other male lead is really good. And he isn't the kind of guy who gives us the second lead syndrome, and he is the best guy in this drama.
Don't know whether you have watched it or not, but this drama gets better and better towards the ending. The main leads become more and more badass, and the romance is developed maturely. Never have I seen such a mature female lead in Kdramas. The first three episodes are very very bad, but the story picks up at 4th and nevers becomes bad in a single episodes thereafter.
Why does it only have a score of 8? I mean many worse dramas have 8.3-8.5 rating...
Yes this drama started out bad, but unlike other dramas which turned bad towards the end, this ended up being really good. There should atleast be a sequel to this good one.
Thanks for the review. Every now and then, Producers make such dramas depending on the popularity of the leads. I myself was fooled by the ratings in MDL, and was about to pick it up, but your review was spot on and saved 16 hours of my time. Dramas such as these should be trashed and let other good dramas take its place, but that's always going to be a hypothetical situation.
they waited to long before putting the main couple together leaving it to the last 2 min of the story we didn't…
Is the female lead indecisive and loves both the leads, like indirect two timing. I hate that kind of story like in reply 1997, where the female lead remained indecisive, and doesn't chose her lover until several episodes of horrible love triangle
Which Indian show are you talking about? just curious
Is this worth watching, I am an Indian too, but I hate dramas with Cinderella stories or arrogant male leads, while I like stories with male and female lead equally arrogant, or female lead dominating.
Worth to watch for Rowoon only! Here what I thought : the FL DOES NOT deserve him. You can see/feel that he loves…
Is the second couple have enough screen time. I hated the main couple and dropped it, but am thinking of picking up and skip the main couple scenes to watch the second couple. What is your opinion
this drama is overrated. FL cannot act; ML was pushover/weakling.
Yes, that's true. The story too started crappily, and the female lead doesn't show any other emotion and her scenes were irritating to watch. The male lead was another big idiot, and I dropped this because of them though I liked the secondary couple and wanted to complete the drama because of them
Kind of scared the writer would screw up by the end bc I lowkey have a trauma from what she did in Do Do Sol Sol…
Don't know whether you completed or not, but the writer screwed up big time in the second half. Never expected such a good drama turning to crap towards ending
This drama had very great potential and to the extent executed it very well. The Male Lead is the best character you could ever find in kdrama world. He was sweet, open minded and did not push around the bush with his feelings. And the female lead too was similar and she was also one of the beautifully written character in kdrama history. I have never seen a drama with such beautifully written characters, though I have watched several dramas by now. Contrary to dramas I watched, where the characters are poorly written while the plot saves them, this drama had great characters that saved the sloppily written drama. Yes the drama started out too good and raised my expectations to highest level, and around the middle started the sloppy writing. That's because the writers didn't have any other story to extend the drama. They should either have stopped around 12 episodes and given a proper ending to the mystery and the cute romance. Or they should have either written the mystery well, or explored the afterlife of the couple. They tried choosing the middle of both, and ended up slopping the drama. I skipped very few scenes in the first half of the series, but in the later half, I skipped and skipped to the extent that I had to skip few episodes to complete the drama. Complete waste of potential built up in the first half of the drama. But still worth watching for the characters, but be ready to hold on to the fast forward button in the later half of the series
They only have a 14 year age gap in the show, which isn't that bad, especially since the lead is 25, so pretty…
Is that the only problem in this drama?? I read that the love triangle was intense in this drama and many recommended to skip 8th-12th episodes. How bad is the love triangle, and for how many episodes does female lead remain indecisive. Does the female lead goes behind 2nd male lead. I'm thinking of picking up the drama, but I'm not sure about it because of the love triangle
