and in 3 episodes i have watched, yoon park had a shitty character. is he involved in love triangle with female lead. and when will male lead push off yoon park from his company.

is the love triangle or polygon serious here. i could bear with the female lead, but i am intolerant to love triangle, affair, infidelity etc...

I am literally wanting to drop it at episode 6. Should I save my time and drop it or continue watching. Is the plot in the same pace, then I could skip it and watch another good drama.

And what happens to ah reum and her boyfriend?? I skipped many scenes in the drama, so I wanted to know their ending.

This show could have been a good one, but wasn't in my taste. I loved the romance of second leads, while I felt the main Lead's romance to be boring. This might be my opinion.

At episode 2 and is it just me or is this drama is overexaggerating. And how many more episodes is the male lead going to act like a jerk. The female lead sure is obsessive, but she wasn't bad, and discarding her like dump and eating with second female lead felt irrritating for me.

Completed this drama. This drama picked up at episode 14 and had a really good ending, and a unique one. From episode 7-14, the drama had its characters with very low iq, but by episode 14 it recovered, and thus I never regretted completing it. While this is not a masterpiece, this drama is one good drama.

At episode 11 of 16 and everyone except the villains and minister heo had their iq reduced by a great level, that it is more and more frustrating to watch. The drama turned from confusing to draggy, literal drag. Villain keeps on getting chances, male lead keeps on secrets from female lead for no reason, and female lead the same. The king is potrayed as a really good man, while his crimes are really bad. The male lead had many chances to slice off the head of the villain, but he doesn't do so, as either the writers wanted to drag the drama or they wanted to potray the male lead as a really good man who would forgive sinners. Come on, after the crime villain commited in the widow village, he is more than eligible for execution. And the widows are another big joke. They witnessed the incident in the widow village and know that heo sent troops to rescue them. But they are so clueless that they discard heo and support the villain. Even a child in their point can distinguish who is their supporter and who is the villain. The king was another big idiot. Though the prince is his son or whatever, a king will develop atleast a sense of suspicion on the villain when his minister does so. But he is obnoxious and foolish to the extent that he cries for his minister, but still keeps on trusting his son. Male Lead's brother is another idiot who turns his back on male lead after hearing few words from villain. Both of them have lived together for past 20 years, but is that the level of trust the brother has on male lead. How could he hate his brother for the crime that he didn't do. The romance between the male and female lead could have been the only good point in this drama, but it too was bogged down by sloppy writing. The male lead seems to love the female lead very much that he is willing to sacrifice his life for her. So he has immense trust on her. Then why should he keep on hiding the truth from her?? If he suspects her, then he couldn't have loved her. If he's worried about her safety, then he shouldn't even have contacted her. While he contacts and believes Her, why should he hide the truth from her for no reason. The female lead is another result of crappy characterisation. She is keen on killing the king. She well knows the real identity of the villain and his hunger to return to power. She was also at the widow village incident, and know that the prince never helped them. So she can barely piece those information and realise that villain is trying to usurp the throne, and killing the king is the tip of the iceberg. Her reason of killing her parents is valid, but no one in their right mind would jeopardise every one of their companions and friend's lives at risk just for the sense of their revenge. But she still sticks to her plan which is frustrating. The first six episodes in the drama wasn't bad, but really confusing. The next 3-4 episodes resolved the confusing and turned the drama to best of historical ones, but the heavy drag in the recent episodes is making me skip many scenes and pushing me to drop it. The drama would have been best historical drama if it was cut down to 12 episodes. There is literally nothing in the story to push it on to remaining 6 episodes, so they keep on giving more chances to the villain and make all other side characters foolish, which is one thing I hate.

At episode 6 of 16, and is it just me or other than romance, every other story of this drama is confusing. There are like 40-50 characters in this drama, and by the time they pull in lady kim, I was confused why did nokdu call himself. Had to read summary from dramabeans for every episode to barely understand anything. Probably they had a really good story, but inorder to create suspense and thrill, they messed it up, and it takes a person like Christopher Nolan to understand this drama completely in a single watch. I rewatched several scenes multiple times to understand what was happening in the drama. And most of the old characters and young characters resembled each other and at many times I wasn't able to distinguish them in same robes. I am a person who understood Inception in a single watch. But this drama requires a really high intelligence, several times that of mine to piece in all the stories. And at times, I even confused the king with the minister. Probably won't recommend this to viewers who can't understand Christopher Nolan movies.

They did i think so. But what does it matter, this drama was literal crap, and though I like popular female/unpopular male dramas, this one had a idiot male lead. Compared to this drama LOVE AT FIRST HATE was 10000 times better

This was one of the dramas where I completed 4-5 episodes in 10 minutes. Basically I hated this drama to the core because of the overly toxic side characters. If the friend feels sorry for what he did, and wanted to make up with main lead, he shouldn't have done it in the first place. There are 3 billion women in the world, why should kdrama leads go after only one woman??? I know he had first love, but cheating always cause destruction. Kwon nara was very much beautiful in this drama, but her character was more toxic than phosgene. They say looks are deceiving and this drama taught me well. She cheated on male lead then comes back to him in apology. What the literal hell! The best thing she could have done for the male lead is to leave him alone, rather than approaching him again. What the hell of love thirst crap! One thing that the second male lead done for the male lead is that he saved him from marrying a cheating woman. Who knows if she sleeps with his friend after marriage! The male lead has huge heart in accepting both of them, while I would have hated them all my life. If both of them were attracted to each other, she could have broken up with the male lead and done whatever she wanted to do, not behind his back. And in the point of view of second male lead, let's consider after the cheating incident. The second male lead said he loved second female lead, and both of them were part of hurting the male lead. Then why should second male lead avoid second female lead like she's the only one wrong here. And if he had feelings, he could have approached her, and comforted her after she returned back from abroad, as he knows she is an outcast. But he thinks and acts like he's a great guy and avoids her, which is another thing I hated to the core. And female lead's friend is another cheating bastard. Literally this drama is filled with many cheating bastards and thus I lost interest in this drama. I never usually like a person who has feelings for another while in a relationship, while cheating infuriates me to the core. If you are a person like me, please skip this drama and save your time. They try pulling in a happy ending for all leads, but it didn't appeal to me. And side characters isn't the only fault in this drama. The whole drama was stretched out to the extent that I lost interest even in the court scenes in the latter half of the drama. Male lead lashes out at the female lead for no reason, rejects female lead for no reason, female lead rejects the male lead first time for no reason, then rejects second time for crap reason, and because of all this crap, I lost interest in their relationship too. so from the beginning to the end of the drama, the skipping scenes kept on increasing and in the final episode I literally watched two to three scenes overall. Waste of time!!

At episode 7-8 and I had a doubt. Aren't they lawyers, and nowadays crime scenes are photographed before forensics and investigations so as to not miss any evidence right. Though it wasn't an official investigation, still the lawyer would have photographed her desk, right? How could the criminal get off that easily!!

One of the best Chinese drama I have watched. After continuous crap such as BEGIN AGAIN, SWEET TEETH, LET'S GET MARRIED, this drama pulled my interest into it, as the female lead though was foolish at episode 12-14, was strong as an iron rod. She never wavered and gave chance to the second male lead which is one of my favourite points of the series. Unlike other Chinese dramas where male or female lead keeps on rejecting, this drama had an actual development slow, which soothed my broken heart after watching those crap. The secondary love story was very very cute, but it was short. But you won't regret it's shortness as all the love stories in the drama are cute and sweet. The ending was anticlimactic in terms of all males career, but you have to make some sacrifices if you are going to become a familyman. Everything was perfect in this drama, except at episode 12-14 which were the worst episodes in this show. But the drama quickly recovered after episode 14 and never stopped short of being spectacular. Another thing I noticed in this drama is that the conflict could have been solved easily, if the villain's meetings with second male lead were videorecorded, and the villain was sued for threatening which is a very serious crime. But they didn't take that path, but still reached the ending via another crafty path, so nothing was bad. I hated some characters in the beginning, female lead in the middle, but ended up liking all characters in the end. 9.5/10 from me and a definite mustwatch. This is entirely different from ceo and arrogant male romance dramas, so I liked it very much.

This show was splendid, but didn't you find one bad clitch in episode 12-14. That one was unnecessary and pulled down my rating. Still I gave it a 9.5, highest for Chinese drama

Please do recommend me some other Chinese romance dramas without ceo crap, no make up white male leads, and no talking about being most handsome. I watched three of those crap dramas in a row a few weeks before and got tired of it. Recommend some mature dramas like DIVORCE LAWYERS, TO BE A BETTER MAN, BUREAU OF TRANSFORMER, MEETING YOU

And is it worth watching for only one season, as you mentioned that season 2 was very bad.

bro, please help me here. i have been browsing mdl for past 2 hours, but i can only find 2 or 3 chinese dramas with average looking male lead here. since you've watched many, can you recommend me some chinese dramas with romance and average looking male lead, or chinese dramas that have mature plotines and doesn't discuss handsomeness. i have watched and liked TO BE A BETTER MAN, DIVORCE LAWYERS and hated BEGIN AGAIN, MY LITTLE PRINCESS. thx for your help

bro. i am thinking of picking up this drama. but are there males who wear too much make up, and look like a female. i am a man and i don't like the way chinese drama focus on handsome lead. TO BE A BETTER MAN was one of my favourites because of the male lead. so, is beauty important here, or is it overlooked in male. i dropped BEGIN AGAIN, and many other beauty drama craps.
