Using fake terminal illness is the worst betrayal. The mom is pure evil. Holy crap. I want to know how she will redeem herself...I hope Thyme is the one to set her straight!

I respect your opinion, but I can't help think people are being so hard on this series for very small reasons. If we are strict on what Thailand has done with Kaning and Kavin's story, then we should question why other versions rushed this story in their adaptations as well right? This is what I don't get when people make the argument in this version Kavin and Kaning's story was rushed and there was no build up. This version has a lot to live up to however its exceeded a lot of people's expectations, especially when we are getting solid storytelling that does not distract us from the main focus of the theme. I'm not here to change anyone's mind but I will argue where needed because for the first time, I think a country has done it right with this story. In this case, I disagree and stand by my examples and views on Kaning and Kavin's story which had no wasted scenes. :)

Each episode is able to convey a good message and give emotion to each character therefore, I can't help but praise it. I have seen every adaptation of HYD too and know how badly the stories are dragged, a flaw most versions have so I am actually thankful this version don't have time to drag the story. Sorry your couple lacked depth based on your opinion but since the beginning, F4 Thailand has had a pretty clear goal in their storytelling, the love story between Thyme and Gorya. Every conflict is created for them. Kavin and Kaning are their sidekicks so one to two episodes to evolve their story made sense. Some may agree there was no build up but I think Kavin seeing who he truly loved through the glass cup since the first time they met reminded me their story's beginning was their buildup till now. Besides, only two out of the five HYD adaptations, explored Kavin's character background. I really can't blame Thailand for their writing direction, if I was, I'd be arguing to have every past version to do the same for Kaning/Kavin's love story.

Kavin is a player, so it made sense to me that he made his best girl friend his partner in crime. I saw it that way, not confusing at all. How was there no build up? It was building up since episode 12 when Kavin refused to interfere with a love triangle, maybe even before episode 12. In some ways, Kavin has always warned Kaning of his behavior as a player, this is build up to what is truly in episode 13. Besides, the number of episodes used to tell Kavin and Kaning's story is basically the same amount used for Japan's Yuki and Soujiro so I really can't complain when Thailand decided to go Japan's route in telling the story in a similar way. Japan's version is still the other best, in my opinion. If anything, I am impressed Kavin and Kaning showed so much emotion in just one episode even if some think their story was rushed. Appreciative, Thailand was able to give us so many good moments between Kaning and Kavin Japan couldn't create.

I think there is enough depth in Kavin and Kaning's story without bringing so much baggage from Kavin's past. Episode 13 was dedicated to Kavin from the opening song to him finding himself falling in love with Kaning finally. Bringing in another story line into his story will only confuse the storytelling when we never got the feeling that maybe Kavin was in love with his brother's woman (like in the Korean one) or his father was always unfaithful (like in the manga). Ultimately, we got what we wanted without dragging his story because we only wanted Kavin and Kaning to have found each other and they did it in a very fairy tale like way for their story. I think it was wise the writers just kept is short and simple because I could careless about his background besides Mona.

Kavin was always a player regardless of his family's story in this version. They didn't bring his family's story into this version probably because the only family they wanted to focus on was Thyme's? It wouldn't make sense to only bring in Kavin's family history now when there was never build up to it from previous episodes. Throughout the whole show, Thyme's family is what the problems revolve around.
I guess some didn't find the kiss good enough. I'm not even going to argue because after all the wait and seeing his mom's minions driving through those gates while Ren was leaving, I take any boring kiss or edited kiss they give us! LOL I know real shit's coming in the next episode so I'm going to take what I get. Two kisses in a roll, that's fine with me. There's no denying, Thyme and Gorya acting like a couple is insanely cute, even though short lived for now.
LMAO! Can't expect that much, its a Thai drama, they don't do much kissing. Their kiss is probably one of the…
I have seen Thai drama kiss scenes in the past, you can tell by the camera angle to be unreal but based on how Thyme and Gorya full frontal shot of the kiss, its real. Even when there was the shot of behind Thyme's head kissing Gorya, the lip movements look pretty realistic. Anyway, I personally thought it was a very good scene, it was exactly what Thyme needed according to the beginning of episode 13 lol.
Okay but what was that kiss? It looked akward, I expected way more.
LMAO! Can't expect that much, its a Thai drama, they don't do much kissing. Their kiss is probably one of the more realistic ones I've come across in Thai drama land.
One of the most down to Earth actors I have come across in many years. There is a reason he is such a famous actor in Thailand. He not only has the acting skills, he's never let stardom affect his life and people close to him. He can be extremely wacky but he's instantly tamed by his mother and his gf Yaya because they are the most influential women in his life. Can't believe he's been with Yaya for over ten years. He's the epitome of boyfriend material LOL.
I am not trying to rile you up. In the chinese version, A Si, didn't apologize to any of his rivals or even thought…
Again, like you and everyone else, this is just an opinion and it raised a question. Not trying to offend anyone here, just trying to learn from this, I couldn't help but put that question out there, sorry you were offended by it. I understand everyone views bullying differently so learning by making a question out of it is also important in the healing process, that's how I see it.

Is it wrong to wonder why someone is watching something that maybe harmful to them? because clearly the other versions can be more toxic with the almost rape scenes, force kisses...if anything I would think those type of scenes are very uncomfortable to watch so I questioned how those won't trigger a person. I'll be very honest, if you have been bullied and is very affected by it, I don't think I would recommend any Hana Yori Dango version because it is a very sensitive show. There are some scenes in F4 Thailand that were controversial as well.

Excuse me?..How is warning a person who has been bullied not to watch a show about bullying rude? I was only telling this person if bullying is a sensitive topic, anything related to Hana Yori Dango probably is not a show you should watch in case it triggers any unwanted feelings.

Well, that Korean celeb's career is completed gone too, he left the industry...so I don't believe anyone won in this situation. With today's cancel culture, people can get away but face major consequences. Sorry you were bullied, but it makes me question why you would prefer the other versions where they don't try to resolve the bullying issues... I too have been bullied in school, there are eventful times I don't wish to remember but it depends on the person really and how they choose to react and grow from it because we all have different thoughts on life. If I was really affected by bullying I wouldn't watch anything that has to do with F4/Hana Yori Dango. Just saying. :)

There is a Korean adaptation already. Just wanted to point out, you said its too unrealistic even for apologizing to victims, having the audacity to contact them...not true though. I remember a very famous case where a Korean celeb was exposed as a bully and even they had to come out and publicly apologize to the victims. I get that everyone has their own taste but I don't think this is any where as unrealistic as the other versions.

Its serious for no reason? LOL if this is your opinion of bullying then you shouldn't continue watching F4 Thailand because you will be disappointed Thyme is a leader who owns up to what he did and is changing for the better. Living in the past isn't what F4 Thailand is and the life lessons in this show is realistic enough to affect many viewers in this generation.
So...talay is using the same people that beat/bully phupa to get his revenge on thyme? What?
hmm good question... these guys have become anti F4 while Talay was recruiting them. Plus, Talay's never been to the high school even before Phupha got beaten, did he really know who beat Phupha? Phupha, being the forgiving type of guy he is, would he have told Talay who actually beat him up? Thyme deleted Phupha's evidence of bullying..I don't think he had evidence who beat who up, just that his target was Thyme and F4.
