Seriously people, i think i am the only one relieved we didn`t get a kiss between Thyme & Gorya in this episode.…
LOL telling another girl you love her while your still dating the other girl or kissing, i don't know which is worse...

Currently, in Thyme's Kingdom...Thyme is the incoming Emperor, Kavin, MJ, Ren are his royal advisors. Gorya, his concubine...future empress of course LOL. Thyme's mom, empress dowager. Lita, the Empress chosen by his mother. Kaning, Gorya's advisor, lady. Phupha, the Kingdom's most reverend Buddhist monk. LOL Talay, a student of Phupha who eventually becomes enlightened and will become a friend Emperor Thyme will rely on as he navigates his leadership role in the kingdom.

Is gmmtv a very big agency in Thailand or why is every actor in that agency?
Thai celebs work for channels. Its why you will only find Bright in GMMTV, not other stations. Same with Win. Unless you are not under a certain channel, you can hop from channel to channel. This is why it is likely to see Bright and Tu in future shows because they are in the same channel. Thai ent tends to recast couples who are in the same channels.

Has anyone heard if their is going to be a second season? I know the outher versions have more episodes.
I doubt it, they will probably fit everything into 16 episodes. Most of the actors already signed up for other tv shows not related to F4 Thailand.

“On a day like this [a funeral], do we still have to think about business?” let’s break this down for a…
More like, we shouldn't encourage most humans to understand it. lol However, it is reality if you think from a royal's perspective, in ancient times, the King was never safe, everyone wanted him dead. In some ways, Kavin is thinking like a royal advisor, he is grooming Gorya into the Queen she is to become by telling her all this.

Not sure why we need to blame either thyme or gorya. Imo both have valid point.Thyme said love matter the most,…
Agreed. I think people felt Gorya gave up too soon as well. But Hey!! Rachel Chu gave up on Nick Young as fast!! **in Crazy Rich Asians. LOL And she was an Economics professor at NYU! So I think these people need to be nicer to Gorya! lol

Hi! Could anyone tell me if I should watch this series or not? I've known about it since way back last year, but…
I think you would be missing out if you didn't watch this version. Anyone who is a HYD fan needs to watch this one the most.

Finally I got to see glimpses of Ren, Kavin, and MJ's parents. MJ's dad cracked me up!
The funeral scene had to be one of the coolest scenes in any HYD version. Never realized how powerful F4 was until this scene. They sure made it look like F4 will eventually inherit the country. lol

The 1% motif and how it played out at the funeral was freakin' incredible. That sequence doesn't exist in the…
SAME!!! That scene was like the real life chessboard Thyme's mom has been playing all along and here we thought it was all Gorya and Thyme she was playing with! It was an insanely good scene. I'm still blown away by it just thinking about it and how well written it was. The build up of the background music, Kavin explaining how their world works...Gorya watching on...F4 walking in with their parents...AMAZING...AGAIN, one of the greatest scenes in the HYD franchise. Thailand just keeps knocking it out of the ballpark with their brilliant storytelling! I can't find a flaw in this story! I'm so happy Thailand is retelling this story, literally filling in all the holes all the other versions weren't able to do.

You know what’s sad? it’s Thyme trying to fit and understand her world because he love her that much. Even…
If you think from a person who is powerless like Gorya **money wise, you can't help but be judged though. Who has ever felt they fit in if they were standing next to Bill Gates? I get how she feels, there is no balance there. How can she try? She's a high school kid still, who's parents can't even support her. Little by little, the feelings that Gorya currently has will build up and eventually end like episode 9. No matter how much Thyme tried or even if she tried **she did challenge his mom. In the end, she is powerless against the 1%.

The break up scene has to be the best and saddest break up in the Hana Yori Dango franchise. Goodness, when Gorya said "Go back to your world."...those words hit so hard. Her shaking voice...my poor Gorya...know that you are worth so much and in the end what you have is worth more then everything the 1% has. Thyme sees it, we see it...don't forget what Mira told you! T_T. Don't forget you are the bunch of weeds/grass that can consume the flowers around you!! This episode was truly heartbreaking but so DAMN GOOD!!! AAAAHHHH

Well, I was just pointing out all your reasons for not watching, judging based on the original story. Since you hate this and that about the story, you would be wasting the time. I'm just trying to save you time. :)

Funny trivia: Thyme's first name is Akira. In the Manga/Japanese drama, Akira Mimasaka is the character MJ portrays in the Thai version. Akira means The Sun in Thai while in Japan, Akira means Bright. They really chose these names wisely.
