yepi hate cnetz for doing this. i am a pure drama viewer that respects a good drama and good acting. i am a fan of LYN exactly because he can actually act. actors are there to act, theyre not there to satisfy the viewer's only opinions on their faces and one sided opinions. The hell? yeah i would love to see that kind of drama which the two leads actually have ambition to rule and not just for short period of time. most of the dramas ive seen they either give the throne to someon else or give it to their young af cousin just to live in the country side because they want peace even though they knew the country would prosper in their hands. i understand the leads desire to live peacefully but sometimes i want to see an actual power couple who have the capacity and ambition to sit on the throne for good.

its not even just sweating, he is crying, and the blood on his mouth is actually messy from RRY feeding him her blood, plus the blood on his clothes were not removed. Most Chinese historical drama would only make the characters spit blood from the corners of their mouths god it was awkward watching them die with only a trickle of blood on the corner of their mouth and their clothes didn't rip when they get slashed by a whip or sword and just turns an awkward red. i love the details of this drama compared to others.

I am sometimes confused with how Chinese drama writers made plots super confusing with how the characters handle a certain situation that is the complete opposite of how the writers are trying to describe them at the start just to make their scene happen. For example, FL that is described as super smart with perfect score or talented would be completely clueless and naive af and has to receive help from the ML all the time, and they fell in love in the process. HOW IS THAT WORKING? Honestly, in reality, all my friends who are smart and on top of the class are responsible and independent. A lot of the times they don't like to receive help at all.
And there's a drama i recently watch that is rated high( i will not say its name cause people will hate me) and i got confused about the FL, she is described as strong, smart cunning and equal in strength and ability with ML. but there's literary a whole episode where she is kidnapped, and she's not even tied up AT ALL but the ML still had to rescue her. how does that work? i got so distracted thinking about it to the point where i no longer enjoyed watching that drama.
While this series does the complete opposite, where all their characters really do what they do based on how their characters are and how they would do it is so on point with their unique personality. Sorry for my rambling.
