the first season is good enough. This is the second one and it's bad compared to the first one plus they replaced the main actor and actress

ngl the acting is so bad compared to the first season with Leo wu as Xiao yan and the current actress is also bad at acting and I've only watched 6 minutes of the first episode...... lemme just watch until the second episode and see if i will continue. The action is amazingly bad too god help me the camera work while the action scene is going on is just horrible plus the filter is making the set look more sloppy

I have watched a LOT of dramas but honestly this is turning out to be my best drama this year that i really love. Even including other asian dramas this is by far the best drama I've watched this year. Im hoping it continues like this till. The end.

at first it was kinda weird for me too but i got used to it after watching so many Chinese historical dramas. Some high budget historical dramas have had a good looking wigs with no sideburns but it was only once in a while i see it maybe because of the different eras. Most of them are like in this series. But do get use to them because the wigs in this series is actually much better than others lol especially the womens wigs in this series is actually one of the best looking. some of the other dramas wigs look so fake and ugly that you cant not laugh at seeing the actors.

Yeah i initially hoped for them to be a couple since they're similar in certain parts of their character but also contrasting. I think they would be an interesting couple but unfortunately it will not happen from all the spoiler yangying will probably get with yuan lu and LTG will probably be alone still waiting for his shifu lol

I think he thinks since he can't have his shifu he can at least have the 'princess' but another thing is he doesn't want to see either of them sad or disdain him. I think its very human of him, but from what i see he really does have a problem with his mental health. His emotion is very unstable and his obsession is pretty extreme, maybe its because the only person who have actually shown him affection and sincerity is his shifu and thats why he have those kinds of extreme reaction especially since he does believe his beloved shifu to be dead.

YY deserves a standing applause for reaaaaaaal. this drama does it so well. There are many scenes i absolutely love and every episode has been a pleasure to watch, there are no bad ones and i hope it continues like this.

ngl LTG is kinda stupid in many sense from what i observed, i know he's younger than NYZ but he is certainly weaker and stupider than NYZ by a lot. this is on of the reason i think he is not the main villain in this series, on the contrary. NYZ is showing us his smartness in dealing with court affairs which i found so good.
