What I’ve noticed is Ko Neung hates being apart from his friends — but they want him to learn independence, knowing they can’t always be there. It’s sad because deep down he’s scared of being abandoned. He acts like it doesn’t bother him at all, but you can tell how much he really cares. He also feels he has no clear purpose, and seeing all his friends have their own goals makes him feel a bit left out.
