We can all agree that Myung Eun Won is in some witch timing.
Those underhand and instigating behaviors just irks me each time sheās in screen. Youād think sheās nice because of how soft and āsweetā her voice is but the girl is just evil.
The sad part is she canāt be fired just based of how she behaves with her colleagues. And it seems like everyone knows her behavior itās just that nothing can be done about it until she makes a mistake thatās worthy of termination
I keep seeing people say Dowon's suppressing his feelings for Yiyoung, but I can't be the only one who thinks…
I fully agree with tou but I also think that after the elevator scene he was a bit stirred by her and then him pretending to sleep can either mean heās avoiding her because of her confession or heās trying to sort out his emotions. Iām leaning more towards heās avoiding her because thatās what the signs are showing but I could be wrong as well. Itās still a bit too early to automatically say he likes her. We for sure know she likes him but Iām not sure if he feels the same way
Because she is so obsessed with yun gap that she's ready to do anything, literally anything, to bring him back,…
Of course he does. I also think he finds her a bit interesting to be around also. Yes he needs her to ascend but ultimately if she refuses thereās nothing he can do
Exactly. When characters are whitewashed, it erases the parts of them that reflect real human nature the flaws, the contradictions, the hard choices. In real life, people arenāt purely good or bad, and seeing that complexity in stories helps us connect with them on a much deeper level.
Hope they won't whitewash these morally grey characters.
I completely agree. I prefer characters who exist in shades of grey ā neither inherently good nor evil, but rather shaped by the circumstances they face. If their actions make them seem immoral at times, so be it. Whitewashing characters often strips away their nuance and weakens their overall impact. It also kills their complexity and makes them so much less interesting.
Because she is so obsessed with yun gap that she's ready to do anything, literally anything, to bring him back,…
I like your point. I guess Iām still viewing her as an eye glass maker than a shaman since sheās not a practicing one. But youāre right. Sheās held her own down with the 1-legged-ghost & the āwell-ghostā plus summoning Yun out of the ā8-feet-ghostā and summoning the ā8-feet-ghostā to her. Sheās done quite alright and held her own considering those things
Because she is so obsessed with yun gap that she's ready to do anything, literally anything, to bring him back,…
I get her obsession with him. But running away is her self preservation. Sheās never practiced shamanism neither has she gotten rid of any vengeful spirit especially one of that magnitude. Plus she has no deity to serve that can at least protect her
As much as Yeo-Ri wants to save Yun Gap, she needs to use those shamanic senses. Cause girl...why are you running towards the problem instead of away from it? And what's the kicker is she is aware that the only reason the stench is so strong is because there's a strong resentment. Plus she said she's never smelt a scent so strong. So why run to it.
Side not I think she should give Imugi a chance. Maybe it's just me but I do understand why he is the way he is. Plus I don't believe he's making her life difficult. Is he a pain in the ass OH DEFINATELY! But I don't believe he's as evil as she makes him out to be
At first I said to myself āIām not going to watch, it sounds scaryā. Then curiosity got the best of me and…
Yes itās enough š š š«£š¤„ Same thing I said to myself. I wasnāt going to watch it. Then I watched episode 1 and loved it. Now Iām watching ep2 and some scenes are downright hilarious. Iāll just make sure to say my prayers at night before I sleep
I dropped this at ep 68. Yeah so it seems the villains here don't even learn a lesson or suffer for their cruel…
They really donāt. The show is such a big waste of time. Usually I endure because thereās somewhat of a redeeming chance for the show towards the ending but this didnāt have any. Just bad from beginning to end
Ugh, the FLās mother is such a problematic character for me. In a lot of was sheās worse than the blind date…
Her mom is a piece of work. Iām very shocked by how she doesnāt put her foot down adamantly but then again these types of dramas have āstrongā women who only know how to use their mouths to fight everyone but the things they need to fight against. Her mother is also manipulative because if her daughter wants to stay and take care of people sheās no longer related to and keep her dead husbands dream alive so be it. Thereās a reason the mom got kicked out of the senior citizens place she was living in
Thank you. There isn't a shortage of women in south Korea or the world. And out of the millions of women he could've…
Yeah. That law is very tricky. Because I know of a case in my country where the girl had a boyfriend that was much older than her. She was 16 and the age of consent here used to be 15 but it got changed not long after this incident happened. Anyway they had sex her mom ended up finding out and filed a sexual assault case. It was hard to prosecute him because technically and legally speaking the girl was above the age of consent and agreed to having a sexual relationship. The guy ended up going free but her mom wanted to keep fighting because her daughter was groomed. The problem was there was no way to prove it
Thank you. There isn't a shortage of women in south Korea or the world. And out of the millions of women he could've…
Legally speaking he didnāt so he canāt be held guilty according to the law. Since the āAge of Consentā law doesnāt explicitly say adults arenāt allowed to be with a minor in an intimate way he technically gets away with it.
The problem lies in the fact that morally speaking thatās very wrong. Because even if āAge of Consentā law says she can be in intimate relationships letās be honest sheās still a minor in the eyes of that very same law. Thatās the tricky part when dealing with law. It only looks at the legal side of this it doesnāt open up to the circumstances, situational dynamics etcā¦
Some of the comments have me really concerned. Please please understand that an adult and a minor dating is problematic…
Thank you. There isn't a shortage of women in south Korea or the world. And out of the millions of women he could've chosen from he went to a child.
Okay fine the law at that time for age of consent was 13 and she was 15. That doesn't change the fact that he still groomed her. What I'm noticing is that some people think Age of Consent translates to making adult decisions/lifestyle. Just because there is a law that stipulates a person is at a certain age to do something doesn't always men it's right or appropriate.
I know it's drama land that's why I am used to overlook things that seem more on the implausible side. However,…
And weāve not even gotten into the statue of limitations aspect. This drama took place in 2013 so by then the law statue of limitations for murder cases was still in effect because it got abolished 2015
Wow sheās those type of people that make you wonder if they were born malicious

I hope we are.
Same. It has started off so good so I hope it remains the same and just keeps going up as the story progresses
Same thing I said to myself. I wasnāt going to watch it. Then I watched episode 1 and loved it. Now Iām watching ep2 and some scenes are downright hilarious. Iāll just make sure to say my prayers at night before I sleep
