So it looked like HL bio mom, Madame De, is going to make an appearance and in the trailer she's trying to ruin LQ's face because she's upset about how much she looks like the Prince's late wife and how much influence she has.
Also, from the trailers, LQ finally makes it back to the main house and is promoted. I also think her illness and HL taking time to care for her over trying to amass power is going to help him win his father's favor. In today's episodes, LQ told MHY that one can't have both the prince and the ministers praise them. So if all the ministers are praising you, the prince most likely won't be.
Honestly, this show is entertaining. My pervious complaints still remain, but I'm enjoying myself. Especially because the acting is nice.
Personally, haven't felt like any of the episodes were filler episodes, especially after reading parts of the novel. All in all, I'm happy because the FL is getting to be with her family which was important to her. That's a bit of why I am nervous for ep 30. I really hope it's a dream within a dream, and her family never committed any crimes or died.
I'm glad she's not telling LBY her whole plan anymore because he's working as a double agent. I understand his reason for doing so but if he thinks after all this that LQ will want to be with him he is mistaken. He gave her up 3 times and at this point, she's already in love with HL (unfortunately). So it's too late for him because even if a marriage was granted to him, she doesn't love him anymore.

When I was watching this, the subs weren't out yet so while I understood most of what was going on there were some things missing as my mandarin isn't perfect. Now that all the episodes are out, it's an okay watch. But honestly, it's going to make you mad lmao. Because the plots are outrageous. The ending was okay.

Honestly, the female lead has had many chances to leave but she didn't want to. LBY prepared a way but she wanted to stay to get revenge for her child.
As for the male lead. He confuses me so much. I can't tell if he's actually smart or not tbh. I understand why succeeding his father is important but it's as if he lets that goal blind him to everything else that's important as well. After he let MHY get away with murdering his eldest son, I knew that none of the children born into that household would be safe because he's always putting the "bigger picture" before the life of his children. Even the female lead, who is now supposedly the love of his life, child wasn't speared from that. I'm wondering what kind of leader he will be in the future. He's the male lead so obviously he will succeed his father, but at what cost.
I'm also wondering how our FL, LQ, will be able to forgive him in the future? Cause personally, I would never allow myself to love him or believe in him again.

Honestly you should watch it tbh. Because there is a lot I left out and these recent episodes actually didn't upset me as much as I thought they would.

Trailers are so misleading lmao. I really sat here thinking on top of letting the baby die he did something else to her because of the conversation between LBY and HLX (4th son). As for HLX (our main ML), I am so disappointed in him. How could he easily fall for the tricks of that new concubine? And why isn't he suspicious of her? Her maid is the reason that their child died and she just gets off easy. She should be forced to become a commoner too. Instead, within 2 years she is promoted to side consort? What kind of nonsense is that? As for his main wife, I get using the girl to take down LQ so that her position is safe, but working with someone you know if actually working for the 4th son's wife is stupid in the long run because she's there to prevent your husband from ascending your father in law's position. She shouldn't have allowed her/helped her become a side consort. I can't wait for LQ to come back to the main house and take the two of them down a peg.
