Same!! I'm actually really annoyed. Why do they keep doing bs open endings in cdramas? There is no way we are getting a season 2. So why even bother doing that?
Lmao. I knew it. I knew this would happen. And no it's not an "open ending" because she is as good as dead. That's…
I feel like based on what we know about her...she will probably choose death. And they might send her sister into the Gong residence but GZY would most likely be able to tell quickly that it's not her. So...death seems like the ending. I doubt there will be a season 2 so I feel robbed. I have never hated an ending more in my life.

YWS is technically not dead. She was lured into a trap via her twin sister being held hostage. The leader of Wufeng is not dead. But the way it ended alludes to the fact that she is as good as dead. As for who all died...girl, I said I skipped to the end...so idk right now 😂 The episodes are an hour long. I have to go back and watch from ep 18 onwards.

Honestly, I feel like it's not. They have an upper hand now that Wufeng does not have anything to scare the other sects with. But YWS is as good as dead. That "open ending" is really just a "when will she die". They will definitely try to use her against GZY but his responsibility is so much greater than hers. That's why towards the end he looked so devastated. Lmao. I can't believe it ended like that though. I would have rather seen her die in his arms than an "open ending".
Ep. 24 spoiler sorta...I skipped to the end cause I'm crusty. I put this as a warning so that those who hate spoilers…

No, she thought her lover abandoned her and thought that all men were like that, so she didn't want her daughter…
That exactly my point though. Just because something "happened" to you does not mean it will happen to someone else. She wants her daughter not to "suffer" the same fate as her and in order to do that she is willing to force a loyal and good general to die and to divorce his wife. Her good intentions do not justify her actions.
Not suffer but they shouldn't depend solely on love.
True, but that wasn't why she was about to sentence them to death at one point. She felt because her lover "failed" her that everyone else's love was pointless. That's selfish and weird. I'm also not buying her pretense of wanting what's best for her daughter because how could she think her daughter being in a loveless marriage by force would result in anything good?
