I'm sorry if this is a dumb question...but what was the significance of LYR banging the drums? I read somewhere and I've seen in another drama where the drums helped the soldiers coordinate/know what to do when fighting but it didn't seem like that was the case in this drama...so was that just for her to motivate them?

Yes LZS and his father. Also, to the second part, not that but just if they will interact in the drama. I heard that he doesn't find out that's his dad till the end of the series/novel so I'm not expecting him to recognize him as his father when they first meet.

ZY's dad said that GJS deceived the Gu family and that he is related by blood to the Liang family?? I feel like the subs are incorrect here because how would that even be possible. It would make more sense if GJS's mom deceived the Gu family but that doesn't make sense either...not unless GJS's dad was unaware that one of Lord Liang's concubines now consorts was the adopted sister of GJS's mom and her brother....can someone clarify?
