Honestly... I personally would like to see Tan Song Yun and Vin Zhang in this role simply because I am curious about how their chemistry would be and what they would bring to the characters. Does anyone know if this drama has been confirmed yet?
I fucking knew it!! I knew she left her to die! Those evil ass looks. And she's probably the one who tipped off Madam Gu's maid about GJS and LYR not being "a real couple"/not consummating. Then there's the general and the magistrate of the new place they are in...ugh. I hope they get better.
Wait, in the novel it was worse? He went through with it? Geesh. Did that not make her hate him?
Sorry, I just remembered a part where MX was describing him and other instances about dirt under his nails etc...I probably should not have mentioned that. But honestly CWD in the show is far better than in the book tbh.

What's wrong with you? First off, I am not a kid. Second of all I never said I liked WJG to begin with. In fact in some parts of this thread I have been stating how I did not like him. So bringing him up does not negate anything I said especially when I have specifically been saying how much I liked CWD previously. Third, this is my opinion which I am allowed to have. Those actions made me like him less which I am entitled to do. Fourth, two wrongs don't make a right and finally I used spoiler tags for a reason.

In the novel he tries to force himself on BFY and MX takes her place...she didn't like him but idk about hate. Towards the end she finally ends up liking him but then...
Personally in my opinion MX's life is a lot worse in the book than the show...and CWD is not likable in the book at least in my opinion because of the act I mentioned....Plus his hygiene in the book...
Ngl...my views on CWD have changed after the recent episode...it's great he didn't go through with it like in the novel at points, but the fact he still tried...really left a nasty taste in my mouth.
Initially, I was looking forward to MX and BFY's separation to see how they grow without one another but we only have so many episodes left and if the growth is unlikely to happen then I'm not sure I really want to see them apart as I mostly started this drama for their sistermance....that's what drew me in tbh...and after reading parts of the novel I was hoping they would change their ending....
know what's crazy? when she was literally begging her hesitant ass mother to go with her to youzhou on their way…
This was an unexpected direction but makes sense. Not super evil because honestly in cdrama weak family members do cause everyone a lot more suffering on top of everything already going on.
Something I've been wondering about the mother though is that even though she lost her "backing" per say, she's still noble and her husband isn't (?) and her family had to have had some assets that went to someone (?) so who did they go to and why isn't her husband being socially ridiculed for treating his concubine better than his main wife. It's just been so odd to me cause I'm so use to seeing social hierarchy matter even when the family or the rich and/or noble wife faces a crisis. I feel like I am missing something.
Maybe, who knows. His granddad did try killing the dad. His lifespan might have reduced.
This has been bugging me. I wish they didn't have him use past tense cause now I'm wondering how long they lived for and why they died and how they even met in the original timeline.
Completely obsessive! I always feel sorry for the subordinates in lose-lose situations like that. They will get…
Same :/ Plus WY is obsessing over someone who isn't even in a relationship with him. There are two other people in line and he is the least likely contender.
If this doesn't work type in iqiyi 长风渡 into Google or whatever search engine you use and it should come up.
