I know she knows who she was but she thought that she was really abandoned. And in the scene I'm recalling with this comment, XL remembers her telling him she's just an abandoned person. Then he hears the announcement and is hurt cause it seems like it was all lies.

I don't need them to change who XY ends up with in the end...but I really want them to make her find out about all the things XL has done for her and visit his grave with Jing or something.
