We have no idea. The title is giving those vibes but someone also suggested that it might be because of all the hardships they initially go through and the fact that she is a "butterfly slave".
That's so sad that she had to put herself through all that just so she wouldn't turn. Also, the dad is really ruthless. You couldn't just cage her and look for a cure first? And Ling Chang Feng seemed to have found something that might have worked too. Now Ling Chang Jin is obsessing over anything to do with the basically vampire clan.
