GJS has proved himself so many times and yet you still keep referring to him as a brat and now you are saying that if he becomes a coward you'll kill him personally. Meanwhile, you are all for abandoning your hometown and letting them die miserably. I understand that he is thinking of the bigger picture but if the show went with that turn of events, how would anyone trust people who were willing to abandon their homeland without any care or thought especially when their children and family are no longer there, but are now safe? ZY's dad said that GJS deceived the Gu family and that he is related by blood to the Liang family?? I feel like the subs are incorrect here because how would that even be possible. It would make more sense if GJS's mom deceived the Gu family but that doesn't make sense either...not unless GJS's dad was unaware that one of Lord Liang's concubines now consorts was the adopted sister of GJS's mom and her brother....can someone clarify?

I didn't get that vibe from the novel. Towards the end he didn't love her he just had lingering affections but at one point I felt that he did.

Honestly... I personally would like to see Tan Song Yun and Vin Zhang in this role simply because I am curious about how their chemistry would be and what they would bring to the characters. Does anyone know if this drama has been confirmed yet?

I fucking knew it!! I knew she left her to die! Those evil ass looks. And she's probably the one who tipped off Madam Gu's maid about GJS and LYR not being "a real couple"/not consummating. Then there's the general and the magistrate of the new place they are in...ugh. I hope they get better.

Sorry, I just remembered a part where MX was describing him and other instances about dirt under his nails etc...I probably should not have mentioned that. But honestly CWD in the show is far better than in the book tbh.

Again WTF is wrong with you? MX does not stab CWD and she is not the reason that he dies in the novel or in the show.

What's wrong with you? First off, I am not a kid. Second of all I never said I liked WJG to begin with. In fact in some parts of this thread I have been stating how I did not like him. So bringing him up does not negate anything I said especially when I have specifically been saying how much I liked CWD previously. Third, this is my opinion which I am allowed to have. Those actions made me like him less which I am entitled to do. Fourth, two wrongs don't make a right and finally I used spoiler tags for a reason.

In the novel he tries to force himself on BFY and MX takes her place...she didn't like him but idk about hate. Towards the end she finally ends up liking him but then...

Personally in my opinion MX's life is a lot worse in the book than the show...and CWD is not likable in the book at least in my opinion because of the act I mentioned....Plus his hygiene in the book...
