In the novel, Moxi slept with Jia Gui first and then shortly afterward was forced to sleep with CWD in place of FY. This was b4 FY was married to JG so no she didn't do it on purpose. FY and JG don't develop a love line until wayy later. CWD finds out cause she tells him and after she almost dies trying to get rid of the kid, he tells her to just give birth instead of trying to get rid of it. In all the republican era drama's that I have watched, the ML's are always toxic. So idk. I haven't seen all of them but a lot. There was one where the ML wasn't toxic though with Wallace Huo but that one was extremely sad and a bit more realistic.
