I can see your point, I mainly wrote my comment because I saw people saying the show is terrible and I was like woah woah. It’s understandable that people are feeling frustrated with the recent episode developments but this show isn’t terrible 😭😭 are most of the characters insane/cold? Yes but isn’t that what makes things interesting? 😂🤣
Tbh, I feel like I disagree with a lot of the comments, and the main reason is that I started this show purely because I liked the matriarchal aspect of it. So a lot of the feelings I have towards the plot are probably different because I never really cared about the romance. It's nice, but idk I don't really feel frustrated. I think I also feel this way because this is the first true reverse harem that I'm seeing in long CDrama form. Normally, it never is, and that annoys the crap out of me because when the roles were switched, back before palace dramas were basically banned, you'd see men with a ton of women, and it's just nice to see it in reverse this time. I also like watching the scheming because, well, I love palace dramas, and this is giving that vibe.
Additionally, YZ is part of this drama, so I never had super high expectations to begin with because I've seen enough of his dramas to know what he typically produces, etc., and this is very on-brand. But not in a perfect-match sort of way; I really hated that drama.
Anyway, I can't wait to see our white lotus second male lead start showing more of his fangs. I'm also really excited to find out how RSB and LJL will end up towards the end of this. All in all, this has been so fun to watch. Makes me miss my palace dramas so so much lmao.

He Xing Ming keeps saying he's not interested in Rong Shan Bao anymore and that she's his enemy now, but the looks he keeps giving her, and the looks of jealousy in episode 12 say otherwise. As for the Yang brothers, I'm excited to see how this younger twin differs from his brother. I wonder if he'll become obsessed with Shan Bao as well.

I think that He Xing Ming, Rong Yun Shu, and Rong Yun Xi all had something to do with it, and based on the previews and clips I've seen on Xiaohongshu, worked together to frame Shan Bao's little sister, Rong Yun Wan. I think the person who actually did the killing is either Rong Yun Shu ('blind') sister or Bai Ying Sheng. 2. I think somehow, some way, that idiot, I mean, 4th sister Rong Yun Yin, will end up taking the fall for this somehow? But maybe that's too soon? Is this wishful thinking? Most likely. Lmao. She's just working my last nerves, and I need her karma to happen quickly.
