Well...it's complicated. So, they get married, she dies, then this sequence happens that shows what would have happened had his brother not set him up, then it skips to his coronation as king and he dies in a chair...so it's kind of happy...but sad lmao.

For cdramaland, it's technically a happy ending. They got married before she died and then reincarnated and met each other again. So tbh, it's not as bad as I thought it would be. And she died still next to him.

No because the writing was all over the place and they advertised this drama as something it wasn't. The fact it hit 9,000+ heat index is amazing in and of it's self and shows that the drama, although not explosive, was somewhat popular.

Yeah, I saw that but I'm choosing to believe that's not her dying and that's just her being momentarily weak. Plus if you listen to some of the dialogue that happened around that scene, it was misleading as he said that stuff before those scenes. And there are still the pictures of him wearing red and them getting married.

They didn't show them being intimate, just her/the emperor discovering she's pregnant but that's still unacceptable to me 😭😭

Me too! She's done other dramas with her former costars in the past so let's hope it will be the same for them as well.

I'm beyond happy too. These previous episodes made me so mad. So the trailers were nice.
