perth just made this a lot more interesting lol. although there is still absolutely no development in the actual portkey plot, this episode had a bit more to it, basically it was less boring. for a second i thought they would go back after that kiss at the end, like it just felt like a good moment for that to happen? but i guess it might happen on the beach?? or maybe they're waiting for the whole movie to be filmed?? but that would be long no??
unfortunately started this show the night before an exam, got kind of rlly into it and i'm now at the episode where yihyun was evicted. i feel so dumb for wasting all those precious hours of studying bc i will not keep watching this....
if you're not planning on watching part 2, episode 19 is the perfect episode to end on. but i'm taking back everything i said yesterday, episode 20 was one of the best episodes so far and it got me so stocked for part 2 + everyone looks so hot in the preview for part 2 y'all wtf
Is this good? Is it political? Is it courtroom law? I just need to get an idea. I read the synopsis and thought…
its good!! basically the main character is looking for the person framing him. idk if you know prison break but some parts of it remind me of season one of prison break, just a bit more political (with this i mean politics within a company). i wouldn’t call it a law drama but there is an important trial going on :)
so we saw that doha was the one who cemented that gold at the start of episode 1, but he is not big mouse as far as i understand? is doha actually the one who 'stole' that money from jihoon? or am i missing something? was doha pretending to be big mouse? and if yes how so? what did he do as big mouse???
also i was starting to think the big mouse organisation weren't villains but in episode 1 you can clearly see bags of drugs with the big mouse symbol on it...so i'm guessing they aren't 'good guys'
idk whats gonna happen in ep 20 but i feel like this would have been the perfect ending to part 1?? the main plot element of this season has been solved (the ice stone) and gowon finds out about jang uk's king star, which could be the main plot element to part 2 (i need villain gowon lol)
cause it feels like a completely different plot will be introduced in the last episode (jinmu controlling naksu to kill jang uk..) and i think it'll feel rushed even if it ends on a cliffhanger bc after all we did spend 3+ episodes on soyi's story... overall the first couple of episodes were much better paced imo
someone commented that mame tweeted that the episodes 1-7 is for phayu and rain. and the 8-13 will be focused…
oooh ok, thats kind of weird since i thought they were taking place at the same time lol but i guess ill tune into ep 8 again to see what i think of it haha
BLs aren't meant to be LGBTQ+ representation, they're fantasies. the whole genre was created by women and it is…
i see what you mean, i guess i'm criticizing something for not being something it is not even aiming to be lol... but again i guess that's bc i don't rlly agree that what you describe as 'bl' (i'm not gay i just like you) is media that should still be made in this day and age, bc after all it will always be associated with the lgbtq community... but yeah thats a whole diff convo
i didn't think i'd ever see such a cliche ridden and lq problematic bl ever again, whats with the spanking????? i didn't know this was by mame but i'm honestly not surprised at all (with all the non consuensual scenes....)
i think another reason i haven't enjoyed the first two episodes is bc i totally misunderstood the trailer?? for some reason i thought this was prapai/sky centered or like pretty equally abt both pairings but it hasn't been that way so far which has been dissapointing.
i had high hopes from the trailer and imo all the plot elements i haven't liked so far could have so easily been avoided, so yeah idt imma tune in anymore
taewan definitely said that to hyogi so he could ask yunseol out on a date lol... like if hyogi hadn't gotten mad like that she wouldn't have gone on a date with anyone, still hyogi has serious anger management issues
