i've never loved ren as much as i do in this adaptation, i somehow always found him an ass who pitied himself way too much (bc he was lol) but wow he shines in this version. also to all the 'ren deserves better': gorya likes thyme. easy as that. ren might be the sweetest guy ever and they could care sm about each other but still he isn't the one she likes (romantically)!! (I HOWEVER WOULD SNATCH HIM UP NOT EVEN LYING)

i enjoyed the first episodes but i have trouble with dramas that are this long...maybe this will be different

yeah this ending was bittersweet. everything leading up to it was great tho and so this holds a special lil place in my heart <3 heedo-yurim and seungwan-jiwoong's friendships were the gems of this drama and i haven't felt so connected to a character as i felt with yijin in a while!!

it's not that bad but it would've worked better in a movie format

i think the ongoing theory has been that they lose contact/separate at 25 and 21 years old (hence the title) so when heedo's mom said she saw yijin and it had that kind of eerie vibe of she visited him at a graveyard...ppl thought he would die? that was it for me at least

i was starting to think they'd change who enchanté was but they didn't. it was kind of underwhelming (mainly bc i don't particularly enjoy book's acting..sorry) but still much better than the past couple of episodes. imo this would have been better if it was just a completely different story lol.. like best friends to lovers is a trope you can do so much with and it was kind of wasted bc of them focusing so much on who enchanté was and the poor writing didn't make it any better.

the writers def did a bad job writing chanyoung lol they try to make it seem like she cares abt other ppl (her dying wish being for her friends to be happy) but then do a 180 where she's actually the most self-centered person ever with a deeply running victim mentality. BUT the rest is pretty realistic if i'm gonna be honest (in terms of dealing with a terminal illness, a significant other thinking you owe it to them to uphold ur and their 'image', being adopted, etc.) there's lots of gray characters which is rare in kdramas

ok i JUST saw the new trailer and omg??? very different than the first one but i totally love it (idk which is more 'accurate' since i haven't read the book and i don't plan to)!! and the cinematography looks like its gonna be great as well

this could have been so much better if we got even just one more book interaction btwn theo and enchanté, like the only interaction they ever had was 'i'm bored' 'you can talk to me' and 'you can tell me everything'????? that is not nearly enough to justify theo wanting to know who enchanté is so badly. and i don't care either... i'm just here for akk honestly

i've missed lighthearted dramas like this, let's go back to 2016/17 era of dramas!!!!!! lots of clichés and tropes but the fact that they're owning it makes it 10x better and non-cringey

this isn't that bad so far. but man theo is one boring main character i'm so sorry

i wish i could say this was as great and inspiring as some of these comments but it just was not. very weird that no one is talking about jun and makoto's relationship. makoto is a predator and it really really bothered me that they didn't bring it up. instead they even justified it in a way when mr. fahrenheit explained his parents were wrong for seeing him as a victim (and he was even younger than jun!!!!wtf). i couldn't enjoy the rest bc i was constantly looking forward to when they were gonna jail him.

now that i've watched this 3 times i've come to terms with teh cheating and oh aew forgiving him... don't get me wrong teh is an ass and it's heartbreaking but having seen everything both of them have been through and just seeing how much oh aew loves teh it's not surprising. i would even say it's realistic bc a love like that is not one you can just give up on, and i believe oh aew would not have been happy with someone else and instead would constantly be thinking of the what ifs...
