OG got downrated because the plot is all over the place, editing is choppy and character set up messy. A bad drama got bad rating. Fans have nothing to do with it. don't bring negative energy and hidden agenda here. If drama was good, MDL watchers will rate it higher.

For every drama, fans open post for suggestions and the relevant ones are communicated to the drama team/ artists studio. Now it is upto the drama team whether they accept it or not.
during TPR also, PWX's wig was not suitable, his fans did some research about same era hairstyle and posted it to drama team and they modify it. Same happened during TBT too.

haters will pick on all this point during the broadcast period to attack the artists. so fans just being cautious and helping to get better output.

Costume and looks also play important part in building atmosphere otherwise there shouldn't be early preparation for costume trial & makeup. They would have started the shoot right away without this preparations.
if something is off it is better to highlight it at the beginning stage so they can rectify than after the shoot is done.
