I also don't understand why op feel threatened with ZLH. ZLH & XK are obviously not a threat to each other. Compared current traffic state, XK is already much behind ZLH even though ZLH debuted much later and aren't from a strong agency with resourceful boss, height wise ZLH is taller than him, Looks and handsomeness that is subjective so no comment on that. their target audience is also different. also where XK mostly work with tencent projects, ZLH started working on different platforms.
Regarding acting that depends on preference. like I can't connect with Xu Kai's character at all since he mostly doesn't use own voice and rely on professional voice actor for line delivery so I can't get his character whether it is due to him or his voice actor. For me Line delivery is important parameter to judge someone's acting skill. whereas ZLH even though less experience had quite a few projects in his own voice and getting better with line delivery.
hope XK feel confident enough on his line delivery after so many years of experience and use his own voice to leave impact of his character and ZLH also keep working on his flaws. Both are good on their own field. no need to feel threatened.
