Yes, it's very good, just keep in mind though, a lot of people including me felt the first 2 ep were kind of a drag. I almost stop watching but the drama went from a 6.5 to a 9.5 after the first 1 and half episode. The story is dynamic the characters are complex and every episode adds depth.

This drama reminds me a lot of "Hello Me" which also revolves around the death of the FL's father but instead of the older version going back in time, the younger version gets sent to the present and meets the older version.

I heard that Tencent is in the process of large layoffs due to new CP regulations, this may be the cause of the lack of subtitles. I believe Tencent is in the process of cutting 20% of there workforce. Anyone know how to watch this on Tencent with Eng subs. I have Tencent VIP and VPN set to Indonesia so I can watch up to EP30 with perfect picture but there are not Eng subs. I couldn't find any other VPN location that allowed me to watch this on Tencent.

Is anybody watching this and Royal Feast ? Doesn't Qian Wei the FL's dad look familiar, Someone has probably already pointed this out I'm sure.

Yeah I was literally at the class reunion part in ep2 when I wrote that first comment. Then after she went back in time and starting rubbing the teachers head I knew it was going to be good. I'm almost through ep 3 and will watch ep4. You guys were right it seems.

Update: This doesn't get good until she goes back in time. So for anyone who felt the way I felt about the EP1 you only have to wait for the 2nd half of EP2 and it gets really good.

Wow, I'm having a hard time getting into this, I barely made through the first episode and about half way through the ep2. So far I just don't see what everyone is saying about this drama. I guess its just me. The story seems generic and boring and I don't see the chemistry. Kinda of reminds me of Zhao Lusi in "A Female Student Arrives at the Imperial College" where she was the only good thing about the show, I feel that way about the FL Laraina Song. But because I'm the minority and the rating is I high I will give it a couple more EPs and maybe I'll like it.

I agree, I'm loving the smart and complex characters and plots. It's a little slow but its quality slow not pointless filler slow. This is one of the best C-Drama's i've seen. I'm love the martial arts and special effects, they are top notch. Acting is also top notch along with the story.

Yeah I'm very disappointed, I want to like this so much but is just terrible.

Main lead Cheng Xiao is very pretty, I loved her in "The Awakening", as for her acting its not bad its just not good enough to carry a drama with a weak story, weak characters and weak plot. Currently, that is what we have here. The story doesn't flow at all, its just a patch work of different scenes. You will often times be left wondering "well what about......" are they just gonna pretend that didn't happen. For example the main character has a sister and the sister's maid almost pushes the main character into a pot of boiling water, when being asked to apologize she uses magic to throw a bunch rocks at the main character who then is protected by her inner power sensing she is in danger, the father of the house and a prince happen to be walking up and catch the scene. The father pretend like the worthless maid didn't just try to assassinate his daughter nor does the prince or the main character's sister utter a word regarding the attempted assault, they just are happy the main character might be able to use magic.
