Its decent, but its not an 8.8 I ended up watching at 2x speed or more near the 2nd half and was outright skipping…
I'm at episode 6 now and so far I'm not too impressed yet either. It's good, but more like a 7 than an almost 9 kind of good.

Title Tomorrow
Tbh the first episode wasn’t as good as I expected it to be. It’s okay ig, not the best but not the worst…
Agreed. I kinda liked it because the premise is intriguing, the cast is lovable and the cgi and visual effects looks great, but I hope the tone gets more serious in the following episodes since it's a drama about suicide after all.

Yes, but they won't get subbed until sunday
Kissasian and dramacool aren't translators, they just take the subbed episodes from other sources. When you see that the subs appears quickly on their sites it's most likely because those dramas have a big international platform that translates them immediately (like Netflix, for example); but this isn't the case for bilibili unfortunately. Bilili is also a legal platform, not a fansub; if we had to wait for fansubs it would probably take even more time (look at what happened with dramas such "Tracer" or "I have not done my best yet" where it took ages to get subs). To sum it up, we got lucky that we have bilibili translating it in english as well, even if it takes two days more at least we have weekly subs

No international platform picked it up, but bilibili Indonesia is subbing it on Sundays.

the slowly deterioration of jong woo is so disturbingly beautiful(?) this isnt a show just about a guy moving…
Agreed, one of the best dramas ever made for me. After watching I also had to check out Huis Clos by Sartre, which inspired this show; it was really interesting.

Where did you stop?
I dropped it at ep. 4 the first time, but then I picked it up again till the end and I still ended up not liking it. If you want to try again my advice would be to watch until episode 6; if it hasn't caught you by then, then you won't like it

It's actually based on an animated movie. What's true is that bullying happens in real life; everywhere, not just…
I think it does really exist, but maybe it depends on where you live? I don't know, but my country for example has a serious problem with it. Middle school was probably the worst period in my life because my classmates basically hated me and I wasn't even among those who had it worse: a girl in one classroom got hit with a chair by her classmates as a "joke" while the teacher ignored it (and that wasn't an isolated case: the teachers usually find it easier to take it out on the victims or pretend they don't notice anything instead of actually doing their jobs) and I know about it because my (ex) group of friends talked about it while laughing, another girl was said to have lice (is this how they're called in english? Idk, I just googled it) so everyone at school avoided her like plague and laughed at her, but I honestly don't believe she had those because I spent some time with her during breaks and my hair were fine, never gotten any weird insects in it. Or there was this girl in my class who said to our teacher "I'm going to shoot you" and the teacher was shocked and scared because she couldn't believe that this small 12 years old could say something like that (the teacher was pregnant as well, so ugh). And there are many other examples. High school was generally a much better environment, not perfect, but not as toxic. Though there were some teachers who abused their powers, but not everyone was like that.

If you've seen Mr. Sunshine it's more or less around that level, but less dramatized in my opinion

Yes, it also seems to be well received in South Korea (it's currently the most popular web drama if I'm not mistaken) as it touches those topics in a respectful way, I agree that it doesn't really feel americanized so far. And I'm also loving Sunja's character, she's so charming and she feels different from the typical heroine, she feels more real.

This is based on true story?! 😳😨😭Oh... my dear S.Korea, you have so many things to work on.
It's actually based on an animated movie. What's true is that bullying happens in real life; everywhere, not just in Korea. Yes, in Korea the gerarchy is really bad, but it's not like the other countries are a sweet paradise either.

The most phycological problem in this show is ppl have more empathy for the murderer rather than the victims .
The director said that the first episodes are supposed to feel cathartic for the audience and make us root for Kyung Min, but as the story moves forward our views will be shaken and put to the test. He said he doesn't condone violence, quite the contrary actually. As for me, I honestly want to see the bullies pay for what they did (especially the teacher because I feel that as an adult he is the most guilty), but I have troubles rooting for Kyung Min after he took his first victim to his home so that his family, kid included, could see him in that state.

Maybe that is just the purpose of her character, just a distraction XD
This is what I hope for as well. And yes, I think that this show doesn't need any romance.

I hope not, she's a main character like them after all (and I also find it refreshing that we're having one of the two policeman being a woman, usually they are both guys 😂)

YES! But it was so much fun watching Kyung Min haunt him like that, completely deserved tbh. I'm even more angry at the teacher considering that he was an adult who had the responsability of protecting those children and teaching them what is right and what is wrong and instead he chose to silence the victims and condone bullying.
