I understand why people think the story in season 2 is all over the place. From an apartment setup where everyone was fighting as a team to season 2, it's a MASSIVE difference. But personally, I really like the 'all over the place' storytelling, which in my opinion is each story told in its individual capacity.
There is no single main character here. Everybody's a main character and each story matters. Think of them as avengers fighting against Thanos.
Park Gyu Young SO UNDERRATED though. Her range is insane and on the same level as someone like a Kim Tae Ri or Jun Ji Hyun. I watched Dali and the Cocky Prince, Celebrity, A Good Day To Be A Dog and Sweet Home 2 and each time I saw a different version of her. It's one thing to take a different character, it's a whole different thing pulling each off.
Done with episode one. The females in this drama are so powerful. Han Hyo Joo all time favorite, GYJ a rising star, and Kim Shin Rok a crafty veteran as always. Simp levels high.
You'll never hear about the age gap or "X looks older" when a younger actress co-stars with an older male e.g. Kim Tae Ri and Lee Byung Hun in Mr. Sunhine and Gong Yoo and Kim Gone in Goblin to name a few that I have watched, but when it's the other way around, KDrama fans tend to lose their minds. Saw a few similar comments about Im So Yung when she did Melancholia with Lee Do Hyun.
It's a sad trend. And the rating drop proves why some fans are so fickle.
I hope people understand that true love has nothing to do with looks, age, style, and aesthetics. If it did, everyone other than celebrities would be single lol.
What's wrong if the FL is "too old"? Can't older people do rom-coms or have romance in their lives? Is it only for young men and women? Stop with the stereotypes. FL is an absolute sweetheart and deserves the world.
It's such a star studded drama. Main cast aside, just look at the supporting caste. It's stacked with uber talented actors. And Han Hyo Joo and Go Yoon Jung, I'll be simping hard.
They should have killed Do Jun around episode 10 with tons of unanswered questions, allowing Hyun Woo enough time to connect the dots, build a romantic relationship with Grim Reaper, win Mr. Oh's trust by using Do Jun tactics and then takeover Soonyang with some blood and sweat.
And surviving a bullet to the head. What a cop out!
The funny thing is, his hair is still perfect a week after getting shot in the head 😂😂😠No scar tissue, no hair loss. Oppa looks handsome as ever.
