The female lead showcased her talent as a chef by serving everyone with dedication. After traveling back in time,…
well said. imagine reducing all that effort to the statement 'just to serve a man", completely ignoring the setting of the drama as a historical drama, the nature of the cultural and political climate then (as if she had another choice without loosing her head), and then she is duty bound( I mean she is the royal chief cook), people that want to find fault in the drama will do that.
wow. what a drama. a cornucopia of hatred, betrayal and death. there was so much hatred and carnage in this drama and as viewer you really need to guard your heart from absorbing some. let's not even talk about the betrayals, they were literally earthshattering. the only person who stayed pure was the ML's younger brother, I tell you he was the breath of fresh air in this sea of dark and tangled emotions. the drama really delivered on what it promised, the actors carried it well. The jinxui emperor kinda grows on you, you almost want to feel sorry for him, but my God he was utterly vile with no bottom line and he deserved the ending he got. the costumes were just splendid, whoever designed them needs a raise, especially for ML. the character development for the princess was an unforseen and pleasant surprise for me, and very welcoming (i mean, talk about self awareness and accountability) i love that they didn't keep her stupid permanently. The 2Ml is a typical total villian package ( vengeful, obsessive, delusional with a "the world owes me "mindset, cruel with zero value for human life, cunning and ambitious). oh and BTW, that is how you do an amnesia trope, it was brief and only added depth to the drama, kudos for them not dragging it out, i am pretty sure most viewers like me roll our eyes at amnesia plotlines. for me this drama deserves the rating it has, even a 9.0 because it delivered on all points, it draws you in and by the time you are done. you feel wrung out. so for me this is a one time watch, I can't absorb that much second hand hatred and negativity. kudos cast and crew, a job well done.
someone should spoil me, how the murong father and son end up. honestly I am so enraged I can't wait till the end to find out if they got their comeuppance
I know people like Arthur Chen in this drama, but I just rewatched Lighter and Princess, and the difference is…
omg , i thought i was the only one that felt like this. his acting in lighter and princess was so complex and fireworks worthy, it really showed his acting range, and I kept trying to reconcile this one with L&P and it wasn't overlapping, i even dropped this after a while. I hope he chooses more diverse roles in the future.
The F is going on here! Instead of the rating going up it's dropped back from 8.2 to 8.0?? Are people here so…
like I wasn't even that impressed with coroners diary, the cases were not really suspenseful, I could tell who the villians were within 15mins into the case . every..single.. time. I had to drop it because for a detective drama, it wasn't challenging enough. not to mention, I disliked the FL's pokenosey attitude. it's a different issue if cases were brought to her to investigate, but she literally poked into everything, it was annoying at some point. oh and who else noticed how she almost died a million times because she couldn't mind her business? for someone with a goal of clearing her father's name she sure went out of her way to needlessly put herself in mortal danger..and very frequently too.she was always rushing into danger and confronting dangerous villians with zero escape plan and back up. she looked more dumb than smart to me. dropped it at episode 17. i couldn't stand her
I gave this drama a rating of 7.5. Had the ending been better and the villain got more suffering, I would have…
I guessed most of the villains before the cases went half way, I fact in the 2nd case, i called it within 5mins, it was so freaking obvious, no big reveal, I just like watching the process that's all
