ML sure was enduring and FL's really smart

for someone who needed to stay alive to achieve her goal, fl sure acted like she had a spare life kept somewhere else

i am trying so hard to get into this drama, but FL's voice is throwing me off..there is something about it that sounds off..it's just not right.

okay so I am not the only one..her voice throws me off completely, I am struggling to get into the drama just because of her voice, not even the plot. imagine that

FL's acting has improved from the rise of Ning

they were trying to stay as close to slice of life as possible...i guess it worked...someone that likes light hearted dramas cannot enjoy this. it's a one way or the other kinda drama.

the number of times mourning clothes were worn in this drama is astounding...a good drama..excellent storyline..it's a kind of drama that is either 100% your cup of tea or its Not, because it's atypical

When I watch other dramas and the protagonists retire to a remote place to live in peace, I am not usually convinced or satisfied, I feel like they lost out. But my God, I have never watched a drama where I wanted the protagonists to retire from politics so bad and go and live their lives in peace like this one...i binged this drama from beginning to end .and i enjoyed it.

when I see ratings on a drama that just started or hasn't even finished airing...I'm not sure what these ratings are based off on..we don't even know if we will like it yet..so many dramas start well and quickly go downhill..how do you come up with a full exposition on an ongoing drama and give it a 9 or 10

also started watching this while waiting for more episodes of ATC, this drama is awesome. actually watched 20 episodes in 1 day...i couldn't keep it down

i have to know, what's the deal with the king?.. he seems good, but the tasks he assigns ml are quite risky to say the least. I can't seem to get a grasp on him, is he a friend or a foe. other villians are obvious, but I can't quite say for him..what is he exactly? someone spoil me .i don't mind

i liked it..would have wanted to know clearly how he survived..but I enjoyed it

it's a standard reborn-revenge drama, but very well executed. Fl is a force...DK was sweet...but 2Ml was the IT for me..he stole the spot light..it's hard to hate him...not too long, not too short. not over the top. it's a safe watch

you are probably right, I am an impatient audience. to each their own I guess. it just was not my cup of tea.

we all pulled our hairs when it aired. the sheer number of comments should tell you. the controversy here on mdl was epic

immediately he got stabbed, i turned it off. it wasn't because of that particular scene alone. it was an accumulation .. it takes a different route from the wuxia I am used to I guess. I can't get with this one. for example when the two ML's ran to the edge of the cliff to argue leaving the girl to fight of a literal horde of villians, 😲, the further the ran far from her, the more i screamed to my screen, "you guys she is all alone"..i know she is strong, but that was a lot of villians. it probably wouldn't have bothered me if that was the norm from the beginning. but we see consistently that whenever ml wants to go on a dangerous mission, he tries his best not to involve her so she doesn't get hurt, even though he knows that she can fight. so what now? arguing with Bai suddenly became more important than FL's life? so i was wondering to myself, who wrote this? maybe i am being critical, but i like logic, so illogical switches in dramas don't settle well with me. also the guy with the bell..seriously i can't even take them seriously everytime he wrecks havoc and just walks off, like they are playing house with him. at some point i kept saying, you don't have to kill him but maybe disable his hands or something 🤔.. the gist is that I didn't see myself watching 22 more episodes of that.. i have dropped more interesting dramas for less..

glad I dropped it at 15, couldn't move past the absolute absurdity that episode 15 was..didn't have it in me to watch 1 more minute. from them arguing at the edge of the cliff while fl fought off a horde of mind controlled villians. to them literally always letting that bell ringing villian go, to zhan knowing fully well that Bai was under the control of the poison and still stood there to be stabbed and thrown over the cliff..at that point..i said I'm not doing this..
