Wait until you watched till the end of episode 5 before you comment shit like this smh, Even I at first hated the way the drama writers changed han ting's story and character a little bit, but it just goes to show how much more of a character depth he got and I must say it's a good change of things, and he's still that kind of ruthless CEO that's in the novel, heck he's ruthless towards in front of his crush when talking about business related things, he knows how to seperate work life and personal life.

I like how Ji xing's business partner is optimistic and always seemed to believe in her, but my God, is he one big of a dvmbass smh, getting scammed like that and have some of Ji Xing's friends money on it too.... Poor Li Li

In the end ji xing's partner got her into trouble and got the both of them scammed smh. Poor li li, got her money wasted.

there's a difference actually, her boyfriend is underestimating her and is doubtful of her success, but Han Ting knows and said it himself that she is good and talented and quite capable and offered her help, it's just she's too prideful to take it, and what he said about her about the corporate industry is nothing but just the cold heart truth. Heck, he even did some modifications and left some notes on ji xing's proposal for some improvements to work on. It's always essential to read between the lines and have common understanding as to how characters act those kind of ways.

I love ji xing and her stand for moralities and her dreams and passion but she's being a little too stubborn and prideful at the moment tbqh.

ok, I made such previous comment just by reading other's thoughts from the first 3 episodes, and after finishing watching those first few episodes, I can now say that there's not much of a change from the novel except the drama adding the college flashbacks part, and I actually quite like the kind of changes (or per se added) on the drama, it gave han ting much more character depth.

well- it's all about fairness when it comes to the leading actors, if an actor/actress are far more established within the drama and movie industry then they should be first billing eh? but if both actors have arguably the same achievements then equal billing?

seeing as to how both of his upcoming dramas have jinming as the director and even if he is a supporting role he will have significant and big roles in both of the two respective dramas.

even your average american tv series nowadays are much better than whatever this shitty show have to offer, and yeah the westernization of korean dramas are affecting it's watch value, it's losing its korean essence that we used to love. you get me?

idk, it's up to subjective taste, watch episode 1 first before making up your mind if you should continue and is worth a watch. I may not have enjoyed it per se, but you might. It's all up to preferences.
