mind you, wonderland of love is still in at number 8 on tencents daily drama ranking whilst other dramas aired the same time as wol with higher heat index are already out of the top 10 on the daily drama ranking, it's longevity is amazing!

it depends on the marketing team tbh, but it's commonly released 2 weeks earlier with episodes calendar/scheduler on the drama's official weibo account.... but there's instances where some c-dramas just got released airborne (meaning without revealing the proper scheduled air date and have no countdown and promotion and just aired it out of the blue)

what a really good first episode, the production and set design looks cheaper tho based on current kdrama standards nowadays BUT that's all forgiven due to the fact that the story and plot seems really PROMISING so far. A good story is far better than the grandiose and big production dramas with poor and terrible script. I'm intrigued as to see where the plot is going and moving along, hoping that it's a tightly knitted script from the beginning to end without loopholes and gives us satisfying wrap up/closure to the story along with all the characters, pls. don't let me down as I have huge faith in the drama adaptation since the manhwa in itself is phenomenal.

the manhwa is full of subplots lol like there's a lot of mind fuckery going on lmaoooo. it's handled really well in the manhwa tho even if it can feel a bit convoluted at times because there's just a LOT going on. Hoping that the drama adaptation will be able to capture the same magic and pacing of the manhwa since its really good.

yup. his first 8 dramas are veryyy successful + with she and her perfect husband and royal feast.... lost in the kunlun mountains and wonderland of love (deserves better imo) both did decently well, whilst snow eagle lord despite doing ok is his worst performing drama to date, let's hope that 2024 will be Xu Kai's year and may his year be full of prosperity and blessed with success~
