Which episode do you think Feng Qiwu finds out ML true identity? It should hopefully be around or before ML father…
Minister Feng already knows ML's secret identity. In episode 6, when she asked him if he was "secretive" and "elegant," she was really asking him if he is Fengxi and Lanxi because those are their respective nicknames. It really got lost in the subtitles. I only understood it after reading CloudA's explanations on the names meanings in the Discussion section above. Also, it's obvious she knows he's HFX as he's always issuing commands for Fountain Abode in front of her.
Yup she does. There was an episode where she asked the Fountain Abode for information on LanXi and he came out…
I rewatched this scene after reading CloudA's explanation of all the names and meanings in the discussion. The coded language they were using finally made sense. FQW was asking him if he was "secretive" or "elegant," referring to both nicknames for his two different Gentlemen identities. So she definitely knew.
I think she doesn’t know yet, since she was confuse when FL mention her nickname for ML, black fox lol
But then isn’t she really confused that he knows the famous BFX at all? If she already knew he is HFX, then that explains how she can just accept meeting BFX.
i know this is not the place to ask but can anyone suggest me a good and trustworthy website to check cdrama news…
I get my Chinese drama news from these two YouTubers: Avenue X and Marcus here! They get news from original Chinese sources and give summaries in English.
In trailer for ep22, I think Miss Huan is the dancer in the aqua dress and veil who stares at the Prince when he enters the room to get BFX. So whatever she did at that dancehall is what gets her in trouble with him. I bet she just wanted a look at BFX in person.
So rewatch should be on Netflix then. "Black Foxy" and "Four Gentry" make me cringe everytime.🙄
@Pencil Box Totally, I specifically fast-forwarded to find those subs and a few other scenes that confused me. They corrected major mistakes but didn’t fix all the little awkward grammatical errors.
Netflix subs are 98% similar to Tencent subs. They just cleaned up some grammar and noticeably changed "Black Foxy" to "Black Fox" and "Four Gentry" to "Four Gentleman." The changes I definitely would have made.
The writing is still tight. HFX complained about the Emperor abandoning his mother's tomb about 10 eps ago when…
Are you referring to the episode where Prince Ju leads their dad to the hot springs palace to visit him to try to catch him out, and then he confesses to not being in the palace the whole time because he was praying at his mom's tomb?
Why was there ominous music and scared looks when the imperial ambassador asked Prince Lanxi to take him to his mom's tomb? Is it because the tomb is located on that mountain behind the hot springs palace? Or because there was no official altar set up for her?
Guys I just saw an announcement that it's coming to Netflix next week in the U.S. I rarely ever seen an airing…
Then this explains why Tencent haven't uploaded full episodes on their YouTube channel. Also, I'm surprised it's Netflix when Tencent dramas have usually gone on Amazon, e.g. You Are My Glory, Tiger and Rose, Sword and Brocade.
