I’m tired of the trope where FL is too proud to ask the ML for help. For god’s sake, he specifically worried about her taking risks and told her he would help if she gets in trouble. She doesn’t deserve a strong man if she is going to act like he doesn’t exist. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I just started watching this and really want to know what's up with the ML, but I really can't stand the FL's voice and yet another evil stepmother with a complete idiot father.

I've been watching this half-heartedly because I don't really understand what's happening with all the conspiracies. Why does Lai Luo Zhi want the throne? What is his family background? What is up with the Princess of Valor, is she in cahoots with him? Who is her daughter's father? The only plotline I understand clearly is that the Prime Minister and Prince Xian are working together to make him Prince Regent.

It looks like the little boy playing the emperor is busy swiping on an iPad when he's sitting next to the dowager empress on the throne. 😆

I am attempting to watch ep15 with the terrible machine translation subs, but in one scene “fu ren” was translated as Mrs. Fart!!! 😂

I will wait for Viki subs from now on.

I loved the entire series. However, I get tired of palace politics, so I could have called episode 36 the finale and feel like it was still complete.

What happened to Binglan’s dad? Why is he still allowing wife and daughter to act crazy after warning them?

I do appreciate that we got some backstory to explain why Binglan’s mom feels so entitled instead of her just being a typical scheming mother.
