can someone please spoil me on what happened to cha seongwook and what's the ending? I can't be bothered to watch the last 2 episodes.

it's because her POV doesn't add anything new, like there isn't some revelation and we don't understand anything more. It's not about her acting, we just didn't see anything we didn't know already. The show was anchored by jinyoung in episode 1 that's why it feels like pov bias. I love jinyoung and I wish this show had more going for it.

you said it perfectly. I just said in my comment they're just trying to fill in the runtime. 2 hours in and there's so little to the story like we get it. not every show needs to be plot driven, but there needs to be some substance. Also the long lingering scenes with the music in the background, enough.

it's good but it's soooo repetitive just to fill the one hour runtime, like we get it can we progress with this story or not?

yeah they should've toned down the over the top humor, made it more satirical, and chopped the runtime to like 30 to 40 mins episodes. I also dropped halfway through the first episode.

very good even though the runtime is a bit much

it is a pretty unique and hilarious premise, but I feel like 16 episodes is too much for this. I enjoyed the first 4 episodes and was amused by how different it was, the cast is also great, but now I'm like over it. It would've worked better as a fun short miniseries or even a movie, but trying to fill 16 one-hour long episodes with this is not really interesting. The dialogue goes around in circles, scenes are too long, things are beginning to drag out, simply because there isn't anywhere else more interesting to take the story.

not everything has to have romance, there are endless romance shows

it's really disappointing how every time there's a plot line of a single parent, they almost always reveal that the parent is only an uncle/aunt who's carrying out the duty for the sake of their niece/nephew and pretending to "protect" them from society. It's such a subtle way to keep the stigma of single dads/moms, as if to say no no they can still find love and you can root for them they're not actually "abnormal" and out of tradition. There was also this very weird moment when suhyeon and her mom were leaving the memorials, the wild comment the mother made about her orphaned grandson left me speechless (though I get the sentiment towards her daughter, but why does it have to be one on the expense of the other). What a mean spiritted drama! And Don't even get me started on the typical childhood connection. On a much less meaningful note, what's with the whole "daddy yu" thing? So cringe. I thought this was gonna be refreshing but I think I'm dropping it, I cant do this even for lee junhyeok.

they're good BECAUSE they tell a good story with the appropriate pacing without fillers or unnecessary cringe. long runtime doesn't mean quality.

Dropped after episode 6. it's not bad, it's just uninteresting and repetitive.

Started off very interesting, but the resolution was so stupid.
