the comedy is soooo misplaced and ridiculous.. what a let down! Couldn't go past episode 5. I really wanted to see more of bibi as an actress, and I really loved season 1 because it actually managed to balance action, comedy, character development, and the crime aspect perfectly. Season 2 is like a parody version for a cheap cash grab.

A real focus shift in episode 6, I don't know how I feel about that..

I enjoyed him in happiness, I thought he was very good in that, I just feel like ji changwook has a certain charisma that elevates these types of roles. I was also very excited to see him paired with ma dongseok.

ugh the comedy is rough man, it's just way too much. it has none of the endearing qualities of s1 :/ it took me like 4 days to get through the last 2 episodes.

kdramas are not made to have second seasons in my opinion, they are self contained works, but new overbearing western media fans keep demanding second seasons to everything and streaming greed is happy to oblige. so, it's almost always trash because it's rarely done in service of the story, but as fan service.

haha yep. mdl audiences generally tend to be uncomfortable with mature themes even if the show is well made.

this is so so so good with a powerhouse cast, great humor, and bold themes. it puts women at the center of the story. It will probably not be for everyone, especially if you're uncomfortable with racy themes. If not, hurry up and watch it. It deserves great ratings.

an overqualified detective from seoul who just moved in to the town to work at the local police station. He's nice and understanding but determined and kinda mysterious. He has potentially romantic tension with the FL.
