I just hate black marketing, and when i see the hotsearch was about the sml and everyone criticising him under it it baffled me. This drama had so much potentials to me and while i wished it'd get more recognition, i don't want this kind of publicity :| I see many overreact bc they expect too much from it to be different and feel cheated with the usual tropes. Personally, i'd be ok with the slow burn romance, i even loved it when YH was that anti romance, greedy and practical heroine. but together with TY, they match well, the ambiguity in their relationship was what make it special. I'd be ok with them just going on adventures, working together to get back TY's parts. I didn't expect the romantice line to develop so fast and having TY to go pursue YH back later is just, how to say it, such old tropes, misunderstanding due to lack of communication then ml regretting what he did and go after his lover. I'll continue watching as i love all 3 leads sm already to give up midway but i gotta prepare my mental first now lol

Looks like there was even hotsearch with many criticising BXS to even scold the actor himself, people are crazy. I get you're upset but it's the screenwriter fault, don't go for real people who only do their jobs! Him trying to explain and make everyone happy in his live was really hard to watch :'(

I think with Huxin, it wasn't a drama with much expectation, with no popular cast etc but when it airs it got attention for its writing and refreshing plot and anti routine characters. even though it's not without fault but still well received and positive from word of mouth. Now the writer suddenly hit us with this bomb out of nowhere, can't blame people to be upset. I get some backslashes and reaction being too much (as attacking the actors themselves are just uncalled for) but i get the disappointment as well. It feels like suddenly HX lost its merits which is unfair and frustrated me most. I guess the more you love the more it affects you.

It's just like black marketing. It attracts attention and turn on discussion, heat index etc, but unfortunately not for the good things. No matter how they explain can't excuse the ml behaviour as it could have been done differently and more logical but i guess they prefer the dramatic effect. Some like and continue to watch, others not. to me the harm is done but i'll continue to watch as i enjoyed first dozen eps and the leads chems.

yea, such dev is just so ooc of TY and i can't jsut stomach that scene no matter how much they try to justify it. If BXS wasn't there who'd take care of her? did he expect her to just lie there waiting for him? argh this makes my blood boils how they wrote him like that.

Writer, actor, youku all release explanation but the problem is the execution of the scene. It's heartless and that fall was painful to watch. He just left without caring what happens, yes she's protected by his stars, but leaving her there, not saying a word to anybody to take care of her? did he expect her to just lie there on the ground waiting for his comeback? what if it takes days? argh, such poor poor writing there.

It definitely left a bad taste in my mouth as it's such ooc of TY, he's always been gentle and both are rational and open even in dangerous situation. it's such a pity as HX started out so good now it gets all sort of backslashes tsk No matter what happens later, the harm is done.

I hope she'll do a live and MH will be guest x) but it'll be hard as he's filming his drama rn :'(

I saw his fans commenting who is this guy after the live, seems like he's not always like that lol be it PR or for the drama, the fact he responded very earnestly to the fans' questions/comments on his weibo show how sincere he is in acting and towards this role/drama. In another interview when asked which work he wanted to do a sequel, he answered 'Huxin' too ^^

I really need MingHao and ZhouYe in 2nd drama, maybe romcom modern drama. as they're from the same company (interesting fact: he signed with the company after filming HX ^^) it wouldn't be hard right? fans have been jokingly calling them 'arranged marriage' (by the company) and it can be just as sweet lol so give them another drama please!

When asked what makes Huxin memorable, he said because he was acting with her xD ok I try not to ship real people as it's not the way. but having some cute moment to release my tension atm is just welcome lol when he said he also wanted to go to Jay Chou concert, that if he got only one ticket he'd give to her and she can do a wechat live for him to see lol (did you want to go with her kk) Then he even 'swore' that TY heart for YH being sincere and such lol ZY asked if he wanted her to forgive him now XD and more, the whole live was like their private chat, fans 'complained' they only said goodbye to each other in the end lol

This. I didn't really have 2nd ml syndrome as i like BXS as a character with his own story, but they suddenly turned him into this typical plotting 2nd lead? what

If he told her and took her heart scale i bet it'll affect her physically and she wouldn't be awake to be able to follow him. The writer could just add a line before his action 'SY is here i need the heart scale to fight to help the elves. I'm sorry but i'll explain everything later' then go for it. then after she faints, he'd hold her back and help her sit on the side for BXS or someone to come help her. Maybe it'll create less dramatic effect but it'll flow much better. bc now reading from the writer i still don't feel empathised for the ml, i feel kinda cheated of my own emotions. that i had to feel and understand for him bc he had hidden agenda etc and i dont want that, i want to feel it myself. Here after watching the scene i could only feel frustrated. smh, i really need to stop ranting lol i was just so overjoyed after finding a xianxia that suits my taste for it to turn to the usual tropes i hate really boiled my mood ^^,
