Not sure what to think about this ep and even more the preview of next ep??
I think it's better YH didn't confess and just give TY more time. At such times, he's already so confused and not stable, he can't accept her feeling like that, not in such emotional state. I'd rather them starting their journey and along the way he'll gradually get over it. What YH expect him to react?, i feel the writer is too rushed pushing the emotional line for the 1st time. Not to even mention BXS and his budding feeling? like?? well at least judging from his look in the end, it's clear he won't do anything about his feeling. But still i've started liking him so much and seeing him like that make me kinda sad and i thought i'd be safe from 2nd ml syndrome from this drama? why writer?
Gotta say again and again, aint TY the perfect boyfriend husband material out there, gentle, calm, reliable, tolerant, emotionally stable T^T he doesn't say much but he'll care and do everything to protect you T^T aiya he's becoming my fav ml ever ah. and these two have such healthy relationship. both think for each other, will try to understand the other's pov, learn from their mistake and apologize, their unconditional trust and support is just too pure man. they'll be a cp i'll remember for a long long time.
and we get more to BXS story! such an intriguing character, i knew he wouldn't just be the cp fan, comic relief character. Look like BXS was captured/offered to a dark spirit? i wonder who sealed his power 10yrs ago? and why he looks for a cp of taoist and spirit? and that voice in the end, did that spirit come back? And It's just hearbreaking how all three of our leads have been abandoned by their loved ones, it's like fate they meet and redeem each other in a way. BXS' reaction when YH found him, finally someone come look for him :'( and when he tells YH to wait for his return damn it. all supporting characters in this show are layered and touching that i can't imagine any of them to sacrifice later ah D:
I just love how even the sword has its own persona and temperament. And TY saying he doesn't care if it yields or not, he had to protect this person today, that was powerful. TY heart might have lost its purity due to hatre and grievance but his will to protect others, to protect YH still remain and that's what gave him such strength and determination. the writing is so innovative and coherent love it
well they're so young so it's normal to date and break up ^^ plus i think Zhouye is so shippable, she has lots of upcoming dramas and she looks good with all ml XDD but yea rn her and Neo chem is so hot, hopefully as they're from same company they'll be able to have 2nd drama, preferably a modern romcom!
So i've watched few fmv of YH and BXS, while it's not romantic feeling and he has ulterior motive but still it's clear he'd slowly grown camaraderie affection for her. some even speculate he'll sacrifice himself later and the thought makes me sad. when a funny character turns out to be much more layered it hit even harder for me TT hopefully he'll stay alive and attend TY and YH wedding ah!
I'm more and more curious about BXS, his motives, his spirit power definitely affected YH and seems to foresee the beginning of her 'changes' later. arghh it's so interesting and as it's no longer part of the novel we can't predict anything, i miss this feeling when watching xianxia. The previews look so exciting!
The battle really looks like the big final in some series x) love love how everyone joined force. and i shed tears seeing TY in dragon form traversing the sky with YH on his back. it's so grandiose and moving, yes that's our dragon lord and his wife!
I love how every character even the villain has their own stories and not only tools for main characters. - FQS and his parents story, he apologized after learning the truth. I didn't expect he killed his uncle right away. this series really doesn't drag on anything! - SY and MS story, now this is sth they changed, in the novel he was the reincarnation of SY's lover, in the series he just lost memories (?) which make it more sorrowful in a way. and that explained part of her hatred for spirit because MS fell for a nine tailed fox spirit. but unlike TY, she let her hatre overwhelm and blind her into path of no return. I hope they'll make her realize this in the end and have MS remember. He may never be able to forgive her but maybe understand her in a way. *sigh
you guys I'm actually feeling THINGS whenever he even freaking looks and smiles at her and it keeps getting more…
yea esp in ep 9, after he helps her in her sleep, that pampering smile when she could lighten up the candles and all OMGG that scene, his micro-expressions are very very vivid. As his character is rather indifferent, cold, stoic it's harder as it could easy turn out wooden and stiff but Neo acts very well. You could see the micro changes in his expression even though he might appear 'emotionless', you know what he's thinking. On other hand, how his eyes turn sharp and determined during the battles, that's such a sight.
