I'm going to cry, you just told me the ending!! Why was this not on Spoiler? Now it's ruined for me!

You won't regret it, it's when all of them are much younger and the fighting is great and the whole romance. I watched all of Pearl Girl mainly bc of Zhao Lu Si and LYN. But I also loved the plot.

Be Your Own Light is good. I got into him with The Long Ballad. That was such an excellent power drama. I was introduced to Dilraba, Zhao Lu Si, LYN, and Wu Lei, all from that one drama. The other one of LYN's is The Story of Pearl Girl. That was sooo good with Zhao Lu Si and LYN reuniting since The Long Ballad. I am looking forward to seeing him come back to Dramaland.

Sadly, this is my 2nd LYN disappointment after A Dream Within a Dream which was very popular but to me it was too strange. Now he's touring so he won't be doing dramas for awhile. sigh.... I hope he comes back with sthg as powerful as Prisoner of Beauty. Now THAT was one to remember! Him and that long hair and dominant demeanor. But I digress. lol

The FL rubbed me wrong throughout the entire drama. I kept waiting for LYN to dump her, but he was a cuckold. I didn't think Yu and Xiu were suitable. Sen was such a simp it made me sick. I didn't like his GF. lol And I didn't like the weird episodes that had sthg strange like when Gong looked right at the camera and said sthg. That is C-drama type stuff but I have never liked it. And then of course the ending was one of the worst! I also give it 2/10 and that is mostly due to the OST.

BUT that's it! lol

I usually do the same thing but I went to watch just the first episode and got immediately hooked and kept going and going and then waiting and waiting. lol

Yeah, they belong in another costume drama. I hope you've watched one of the best power dramas in a long time Pursuit of Jade.

I've gone back 3 times to rewatch that. lol

I am screaming over the tub scene. OMG this is the power drama to beat in 2026. Their chemistry is so hot it makes me melt!! Thank you to the director and the wonderful actors and actresses who have acted their butts off and weren't afraid of the kissing and the passionate scenes. I can't say enough about this drama. So fantastic!!

She is undercover. And he's the Don of a crime syndicate. ??

I like her so I will go and watch that. However, she was hugely pro "A Dream Within A Dream" while I didn't last past Ep 5. Then she couldn't stand "The White Olive Tree" while I found it to be one of the best dramas at the time. lol We all have such varying tastes. Esp between different countries.
