Honestly i would do the same, not only that she feels inferior in the world of the rich, thyme's mom got to her but her whole family also suffer.

Where is the promised romance in f4?? Why is it called romcom when im in so much pain?????i cant...

The more we see Thyme's mom the more confused i get on how the director gonna make her kind in any way.

The other ver mom only make the fl suffer after she went there and fl's mom threw salt on her, but here, not only she made gorya's dad lost his job before she "negotiate" but she also made the whole company went bankrupt.

In jpn ver, she only made ml engage after her company suffer a big loss thanks to ml words and to save her company. In korean ver, she keep reminding junpyo about how hard his father work for the company. But what is exactly thyme's mom backstory here?

Can i just say, it must be nice to be Lita, have a family as respected as thyme but with a much more supportive parents and she can literally do anything (even in other ver her parent always listen to what she says regarding the engagement).

How in the world will thyme even consider asking lita to be his girlfriend when he still actively pursuing gorya??? (Again in other ver, the fiance came when the ml and fl kinda have a small gap between them thanks to the fact that the ml went overseas foe quite some time, so how can thyme even ask lita out??), but here, thyme and gorya are perfectly happy and flirting with each other.

I wonder if talay (if he is really who we think he is) is someone close to pupha.

Honestly i rarely watch romcom or asian drama, but since ive been watching f4 since i was very young, im here to continue the tradition 😌. If im going to choose tho, i would say japanese dorama are my fave from asia

We will tho, and ren already have a bit of a side plot with Mira (his story later will usually revolve around the ml and fl tho). The only one usually doesnt get any side plot is the MJ charachter

I know they are obv going to cut a lot of part from hyd but that is actually a big jump. There is no thyme going overseas and we already have Lita and Talay appear at the same time.

Very little scene of the f4 member specially MJ. And damn, ren be rooting for gorya and thyme here, gonna be interesting to see how the director inserting him to the real love triangle of t-g-r later.

? But you dont have a problem always justifying the sml action in other version right? Is an enabler of bullying (literally part of the gang but everyone treat him like he isnt), kissing his friends crush just because he is heartbroken (not ren tho) but okay its all because they are bright fans. U are forgetting that bright actually gain a lot of new fans for this and not all his fans watch f4 🙄.

The opinion about which ver is the best is up to the person, and its not because of bright or thyme charachter alone( like u do realize that bright isnt the only actor in the drama right?). U sounds exactly like the usual bright haters that will say anyone enjoy anything that have bright in it is simply because they are his fans.

I dont think the show told us that gorya need to change thyme tho. Thyme is the one saying gorya is the reason he wants to be better. Not that gorya insisting on changing him or feel the burden that she is responsible for him to be better

Welp apparently the scene with thyme being angry to gorya went viral to local, and people are angry that they romanticize it.

Is it just me who doesnt get anything romantic about that? Why do they say they romanticize it?

The japanese ver doesnt have one in the first season, but have one in the 2nd season

The way they portray thyme's mom so far...im really curious about how they can make her switch to be kind. There is literally no part whatsoever so far that told us she has any positive or kind side

Listen, i know that thyme is hurt, and jealous, and feel betrayed and at the end he said he wont be violence anymore, but damn that angry scene with him and gorya 🥶.

There is something weird in the way they present kavin-kaning. For some reason kavin are being too affectionate compared to his counterpart. (But then again, f4 thai already give us more kk interaction by this point than every other ver, so i guess thats understandable)

Technically gorya didnt lie (could be discussed tho, we were given a scene where she actually remember she drop her phone on the bus stop but still saying she left it at the flower shop)
Gorya didnt see the cuteness(she did tho for some), but she did see thyme other side that isnt just mean. On their not-date , when thyme came to her house and after that when he told the story about ren, when they spend time together in his closet, when thyme was angry at the doll. In fact most of thyme positive side that we saw, gorya already saw it too. But her having her doubt is understandable since she was the one getting bullied before. Not because she never saw thyme being cute or kind.

What did she missed (thyme playing with cat, which she saw when he vid call her), or thyme being a kind frien with ren(his whole outfit thingy, which btw gorya saw that too in the airport)?

I actually found the fact that gorya went back to her genderless fashion when she go on a date with ren interesting. In every other version, the FL always try to look cute for this particular date (eventho at the end of it, they all are finally admit that they already move on).

Whats interesting is based on all the preview, they both look like they actually enjoy themselve on the date (compared to the super awkward japan, chinese and a bit of taiwanese ver. And the cute but barely passable because jandi remember junpyo too much in the korean version). And that ren doesnt look like a total bore mellow person on that date (compared to his counterpart in other ver).

As some commenter pointed it out gorya outfit kinda show us who she likes. Which imo they already did in ep 6(the fact that they show us gorya looking for thyme exactly after kavin told thyme about if you truly love someone you will try to talk it out no matter how angry you are) and what her feelings regarding ren (not sad or jealous watching ren kiss other girl, no reaction when she saw ren behind thyme at that meow meow scene, more than anything she freaked out when ren jokingly asked her to date behind thyme's back).

I wonder if she isnt that in denial and how the series want to tell us that both ren and gorya is finally a friend that is comfortable now with each other. Unlike other ver, where it always looks like the girl put the sml on a pedestal even untill the end (for his hero status or other things)

She does have a choice tho. Specially after this exact ep, usually the ml is asking her to not talk to him anymore. Which she did at first, but she came back to him because she wants to.


She also rejected him when the fiance part came. They arent always together and if you forgot, the sml is also pursuing her even after he knows the fl is already in love with ml. The japanese ver especially have the sml saying that he wont back off even after makino reject him and said that she only love domyouji. It literally takes him to see domyouji begging at his feet to stop chasing makino for him to back off. So not where the part of him staying silent without hurting anyone is (not sure if they are going to do the same, because idt they did this in the chinese ver), but if im not mistaken the taiwanese ver, the sml also told both the ml and fl about him also liking the fl( so not silent either for that one).

That still doesnt explain what you mean with hurting her friends tho. In all version, the ml never hurt her friend or family even later in the story (not that the sml did, but the only one hurting the fl friend is the ml's mom)
